'It would be selfish for a person who receives tons of love, stability, money and has a dream job to not want to live in the world,' Wooyoung thought yet that's exactly how he felt waking up the next morning.
The conversation from the day before rang in his ear like a sick reminder. Doubts and guilt washed over him as he tried to evaluate his role in the group.
What was he good at? Was his whole personality made up from annoying the members?
Was he the best at any of the positions within the group?
Should he really not have joined KQ?
Wooyoung continued to lay on the hotel bed, tears streaming down his face as Seonghwa's words echoed in his mind repeatedly.
He eventually got up from bed, brushed his teeth, used the restroom and washed his face. Every action felt like an extra errand he had to get through. At 10 am, he gathered enough courage to turn his phone on. He knew once his phone turned on, he would be submerged back to reality with messages and calls from people he would much rather avoid at the moment.
As expected, tons of notifications swooped into his phone the moment he turned it on-
*3 missed calls from Hwa Hyung*
*2 text messages from Sannie*
*1 missed call from Yeosangie*
*3 text messages from Yunho*
*1 text message from Joongie hyung*
*13 missed calls from maknae*
Wooyoung wasn't ready... He wasn't going to open any of those messages or return any of the calls yet. As he scrolled through the notifications, one caught his eye immediately.
*2 text messages from Darling*
He immediately opened it.
-Jagiya, are we still on for dinner this Friday?-
-I miss you, I have so much to tell you-
Woooyoung bursted into tears at those two simple text messages. Yeonjun probably had no idea about what was happening in Wooyoung's private life yet his timings were always perfect.
He immediately called his long time friend because he needed some sort of comfort.
"Hello?" Yeonjun's voice was chirpy, "Jagiya, I miss you."
"I- I miss you too," Wooyoung said in between sniffles.
"Wooyoungie... what's wrong? Why are you crying?" Yeonjun sounded concerned.
"I- Am I too much? I know I'm clingy and I like to play fight a lot... And I pull pranks but- I have a lot of love to give. I'm not that horrible, right?"
"Young ah, you are one of the most genuine people I know. During the years we trained together, spending time with you was one of the things I looked forward to the most. What's going on, jagi?"
"I had a big fight with my members. I think they all hate me, Jun."
"I don't think anyone could ever hate you, Young ah. You're too charming. Why don't we meet tonight? I just have a magazine shoot until 6 pm. Let's meet up after that, babe. My treat."
Wooyoung smiled at his best friend's comforting words and the two 99 liners made a detail plan of where to meet and what to do. They agreed upon a bar 2 hours outside Seoul to avoid getting stalked by paparazzi.
Wooyoung got up from his bed and decided it was time to visit the dorm before they get annoyed at him again.
His previous conversation with the members rang in his ear like a reminder to act better. He would stay away, act more mature... He would do everything before he thought about them as brothers again...
