You love it too much to let go
The beauty of your life that I took away.
The light at the end of the tunnel I made
You love it too much to jump off.
So I am your villain, eh?
The personification of the evils you fight.
Single-layered
I am your villain?
Then I accept, yes I will be evil
Just for you.
I will break you
languish in your screams
And drink your rage.
I am your villain.
Then come to love me,
What I am, and what you need me to be.
Isn't it so pretty?
That I get to be the one to die?
That I am the one you push,
Even when it is you I saved.
I took away your love,
To bring you a world you need.
The monster to fight
The evil that breeds.
I am your villain, and you need me
There is no hero without a bit of villainy.

PoetryThese are several poems I have written in the past few years. They can get depressive, so fair warning.
