Metallic eyes watch motionless.
A night sky full of wonder.
Stars sign, and star signs,
Animals and heros, beasts and lyres.
But it is not enough.
We are not enough.
Metal skeletons and stripped wires
Broken arms and bent up legs
Frayed neurons on lost nights.
I am looked down upon
by beings far greater than I
Eternals of stardustbut silent watchers.
I am destroyed.
No body nor mind.
Failed logic, and blind.
Glass eyed and slack tongued.
I am trapped here.
Under a blanket
Gray and vast.
I can not leave.
Was I made broken,
Or did I fail?
Was I always trapped
Or am I now dead?
There is no beyond.
A silent picture, not space.
Silent watchers of painted eyes.
There is only the guise.

PoetryThese are several poems I have written in the past few years. They can get depressive, so fair warning.
