"Get up!" Luke whined. I reached over trying to find my alarm clock so I can make it stop ringing. I get up and stretch. My hair is frazzled and my fingers crack with every movement. I look at the time, 7:05. I brush my teeth and pick my clothes out. I decide a black shirt that says "mermaids have more fun" and high waisted tie dye shorts and flip flops. I have a few minutes to spare so I curl my hair and put a bracelet and ring on.

"C'mon, Hayes is here and you don't want to miss your bus." I ran downstairs.

"Well I could care less if you miss your bus, but dad would kill me so." Luke mumbled. I walked outside with Hayes.

"You look nice." He said.

"Thanks." I smile.

"Since you're good at a bunch of sports, you should try out for one." He said.

"I do football." He added.

"Is there anybody I should steer clear of?" I asked.

"As a matter of fact, yes. Steer clear of Meagan Summers and Lina Johnson." He said.

"Come here." He said. He pushed me against a tree and looked into my eyes. He smiled and pressed his lips on mine. His hands attached to my waist and my fingers ran through his hair. I smiled breaking our kiss.

"Wow." I said clearing my throat and a smile appeared on his face. We separated quickly when the bus pulled up.

"Hey Hayes." A brunette said, while walking up the street.

"Who is this?" She asked. I looked at her outfit, her shorts were too short, her shirt was skin tight and her hair was a mess.

"This is Angela, Angela, this is Lia." She smiled.

"Are you new?" She asked. I nodded. I thought of saying yes and at my old school, we used to ignore attention pigs. But for now I keep my mouth shut.

"I'll help you out." She said pulling me aside.

"If I were you, I would stay away from Hayes." She added.

"Why?" I asked

"All of his fame can get to him, and he's my boyfriend." She said. I look over at Hayes who is motioning to get on the bus with him. I walk towards him without saying a word back to Lia.

"What did she say?" He whispered.

"She said that you are her boyfriend and that your fame can get to you." I whispered back.

"I'm only famous by vine and Magcon, and she is not my girlfriend." He said. He walked onto the bus with me following being him.

*skip bus ride*

I walked into Davidson Day without turning back. We walked to the office. Hayes held my hand, his fingers interlocking with mine. I got my schedule, we had the same schedule. He smiled and we started walking to first period. We had Bio, then Spanish, then Algebra, then lunch, then Government.

"Mr. Grier!" An older man yelled as we walked into biology.

"Mr. Snyder." Hayes started.

"Why were you late?" Mr. Snyder asked.

"I had to help her, she's new here sir." Hayes gulped and looked at me out of the corner of his eye.

"I see." Mr. Snyder seemed calmer now.

"Have a seat next to Mr. Grier." Mr. Snyder motioned me to the empty seat next to Hayes.

*an hour after Mr. Snyder talk about Anaphase and Metaphase*

Hayes took my hand again and took me to the gym. It was huge and had banners hanging from the ceiling. I see five that say Hayes' name on them, all of them for Football.

"Mrs. Lord, this is Angela Connors, she's new here." He introduced me to a short woman that seemed to be mid twenties, she had long brown hair that fell to her hip.

"Nice to meet you." She smiled and patted my back.

"Grier go get dressed, unless you wanna do five hundred push ups." He shook his head and walked to the locker room.

"What sports do you play?" She asked.

"Volleyball, badminton, archery, tennis, softball, hockey, swimming, and I like to penny board." She smiled.

"Welcome to Davidson Day." She hugged me and handed me a uniform.

"It looks like it'll fit." She said and sent me into the locker room to try it on. I took my shirt and shorts off and tried the uniform on. It actually fit.

"Have you ever played football?" She asked as I walked into the gym along with Hayes who was waiting at a bench in the hallway.

"Yes." I replied.

"Man, you're one of my favorites already." She smiled.

"That's a good thing." Hayes said. She gave him a dirty look.

"Grier, I want you to do five laps around track, 20 push ups, and then you can meet up with the class for football." She said. He nodded. He gave me a peck on the lips before heading outside.

"He's your boyfriend?" A girl asked.

"Uhh not yet." I mumbled.

"Mrs. Lord, the office said that they need Angela Connors." A man with a husky voice said.

"I don't know where that is." I said shyly.

"I'll take you." A tall girl with brown hair and blonde highlights said.

"Go ahead, if you want, take your stuff with you. We will be outside." Mrs. Lord said.

"I'm sure it's just a call from my dad." I said and followed the girl out of the gym.

"My name's Juliet. Correct me if I'm wrong but your name is Angela." She said.

"How'd you know my name?" I asked. I've only been here for a few hours and people already know my name.

"You're dating the captain of the football team, and you are new here, you'd be surprised how quickly word spreads around here." She said.

"I don't know whether to be happy about that." I mumbled. She laughed.

"It happens to everybody, it happened when I first came here and people acted the same way when they noticed that I was dating Kenny Holland." She said.

"Are you going to homecoming?" She asked.

"I don't know, I just got here today and I'm still new to everything." I said and smiled.

"You should go, you and Hayes could hang with Kenny and I." I nod. I walk into the office and the woman smiles.

"I'm guessing that you are Angela Connors?" She asked. I nod slowly.

"Come with me." She motioned me to follow her. We walked outside and she showed me where the football field is. She told Juliet to take me there. I see a bunch of balloons and Hayes carrying a huge sign in his hands.

"I may not know everything about you, but I want to. I hope that you will go to Homecoming with me, I will not be happy with any other girl because I really like you Angela." He said. It brought tears to my eyes. I covered my mouth with my hands and he ran over to me with the sign saying "homecoming?" He wrapped his arms around me.

"Is that a yes?" He asked. I nod. Tears fall down my cheeks.

"She said yes!!" He yelled. Everybody clapped and whistled.
