I change into a different outfit, a orange crop top and faded shorts. I also curl my hair. I want to go penny boarding around the neighborhood. I walk downstrairs and dad handed me a gun to put in my boot just in case I need it.

"Dad why am I taking this?" I asked.

"Just in case, I haven't got to know everybody yet. I just met the Grier's Wednesday." He replied.

"The Grier's?" I asked.

"Yes, they are a very nice family. They have three children. Two are around your age and one is younger that you." He explained.

"Okay." I say and head outside looking at the beautiful houses.

I see one with a tire swing. I see another with kids running around with water guns spraying each other and giggling. Then I saw a house with a mailbox that read "Grier". This was the family that dad said he met. Two boys ran around the yard playing football. They both had brown hair, they seemed to be 5'8" maybe. One threw the football and the other boy tried to catch it. Then he threw it again and it hit my arm causing me to go off balance. I fell to the ground and my penny board flipped over. I shook my head trying to get the leaves out of my hair and thank god for helmets and knee pads.

"Oh I'm so sorry, Here let me help you." A boy with short curly brown hair said offering me to take his hand so he can help me up.

"I got it thanks." I say and get up and wipe my legs off.

"I'm Hayes." He said.

"Angela." I replied.

"What a nice name." He made me smile.

"Thanks." I could feel my face getting red.

"Well since you aren't going to introduce me, I guess I'll introduce myself." The other boy said walking to the sidewalk where me and Hayes were.

"I'm Nash, Hayes' older brother." He smiled. He had the Derek Hale creepy smile, the one that was so hot but at the same time it was bone chilling.

"Isn't your dad in the military?" Nash asked.

"Yes. My mother is in the army, and my brother is a police officer." I explained.

"So does your dad want you to be like your mom?" Nash asked.

"He does. But I'm not going to be like her." I said.

"Why?" Hayes asked.

"I don't know, I'm just not into it." I said.

"Why don't you hang with us for a while, since you're new and don't really know anybody." Nash offered.

"Uhh sure." I said awkwardly.
