Aaron and Juliet walked to class dragging me with them. I walk into the classroom and the room smells of glue. There is sawdust everywhere. Even if we sweep the floors, there is still sawdust everywhere. Mr. Meyers was in the back of the class working on a project. He walked to the front of the classroom.

"Thats quite a bruise you got there, what happened?" He asked. He sat at his desk. Hayes glanced at me.

"Penny board accident." I said and he nodded.

"Take a seat Ms. Connors." He said politely. The bell rang and we all sat in our seats, Carter to my left, and Taylor to my right. Aaron and Juliet were in front of me.

"Okay so I think I work you guys a little too much, so today we are watching a movie." Mr. Meyers said. Everybody cheered.

"Of course it will be a home improvement show, and you will have to build an 8' x 10' house. You will work with a partner." He said. He put the movie on, it was only a half hour long. We would have another half hour left of class. He started the movie. He called me to his desk. I slowly walk to his desk.

"Here is your paperwork, just have a guardian sign it. I know that your father isn't able to sign the paperwork. You could have an older sibling sign them if you need to." He whispered.

"Thank you." I whispered. He winked and I sat back down shoving the papers into my book bag. I almost fell asleep watching the video. Aaron nudged me and slid a piece of paper across the desk.

"Shawn needs to talk to you after school." Was all it said. I slowly nodded not understanding why he needed to talk to me.

After that boring video, I need a nap. I would've taken one in class but Aaron kept me awake. Carter gave me a headphone and we listened to music the whole time.

Juliet has home economics next so we say goodbye and she goes off to class, Aaron and Taylor have English next too. We turn the corner and somebody grabs me by the arm and pulls me to a small space against the wall. I look at the person, it's Hayes. I try to scream but he puts his hand on my mouth. Aaron and Taylor look for me.

"Hayes let me go." I say trying to get away from him. He takes his hand off of my mouth.

"I'm sorry okay." He says.

"Great okay, you're sorry. Okay I got it. Now can you please let me go?" I said not really even paying attention to him.

"Please hear me out. You can at least let me do that." He said. I groaned and checked the time.

"You have two minutes to explain." I said. I already regret saying that.

"Meagan and Lina told me to do it, and if I didn't do it, they would completely ruin you and you wouldn't be popular. And nobody would trust you. So I had to listen to them because I didn't want you to get hurt by them." He said quickly.

"Whatever Hayes, I have to get to class." He started to let me go.

"Wait-" he pulled me close to him. He kissed me quickly, that quick kiss turned to his hands on my hips. I missed him but I don't completely trust him or what he said. I push him away and smack him hard. I see the pain in his eyes.

"Hayes, I am dating Shawn okay? I don't know what you don't understand about that. I love him, you have Madison now. Madison has been drooling over you on Twitter." I said and left linking arms with Aaron and Carter. We go to English and take our seats.

"Today we will be talking about dreaming." Mrs. Jamison said as she came in and sat down. Everybody was here except Hayes.

"Why did you leave for a second?" Carter asked.

"Hayes apologized and he told me why he did it-" I paused. Aaron joined the conversation.

"Why did he do it?" He asked.

"Meagan and Lina told him to." I said. Carter motioned me to continue since Aaron interrupted me.

"And..." Carter said.

"He kissed me." I shrugged. Aaron had a stupid look on his face like he was confused.

"And what did you do? Was that it?!" He expected more.

"I smacked him and told him that he has Madison now." I said.

"Dreams. We all dream, but we sometimes dream about bad things. Our subconscious may have turned a dream into something you've watched on tv or experienced in the past." She continued.

"Somebody give me a word that describes a dream. Good or bad." she added.

"Romance." An all too familiar voice said. Of course it was-

"Very good Hayes." She praised him.

"Violence." I said. She smiled and nodded. She praised me more than Hayes.

"Ohh nice strong word Angela, good." She said. I glanced at Hayes and he shot me a fake smile.
