Chapter 28

Shayla

2 days later

"You're so annoying." I whined, putting my head on Cyn's belly.

She was wearing a purple sweatshirt and black leggings and was so cute with her glasses on. She giggled and pushed me off of her.

"The doctor said no hanky panky until he gives me the all clear next week. You're the asshole who paid for a new machine and meds. Blame yourself." She told me, pulling my face to hers to kiss me lovingly.

"Hmmm....I hate the doctor." I complained, kissing her mouth, nipping at her bottom lip.

"You hate everyone."

I laughed. "I don't hate you. I love you." I whispered, putting my head on her shoulder, kissing her collarbone.

I could feel her gasp. "...I love you."

I liked that she didn't say, I love you too.

"Cynthia," I started, reaching into my pocket pulling out a little black box, I sat up and looked at her.

"Babes, will you marry me?" I asked, taking the ring out, slipping it on her finger.

She sat up staring at her hand in disbelief. "Are you going to leave me again for another 2 years if I say yes?" She asked, pouting.

"No. I plan on never leaving you again." I told her, kissing her briefly. "At least if you don't want me to."

"Never. Yes I'll marry you and yes I want you to stay with me always." She pulled me down to her.

"Hey, hey. Easy now. No hanky panky." I teased.

"Hey, Shaybaby. Don't tell Kam. He will want to do two weddings and I don't want to do that."

I laughed. "He already knows and that is the first thing he said."

She groaned and whined. "I'm not doing it."

I laughed while turning off the light. "Let's think about it tomorrow. For now let's sleep and be thankful this book has ended on a good night."

"Yes, my love."

I laughed again, cuddling back into her. Soon I was asleep wondering and hoping if everyday could be this great.

Two weddings

***

No one wanted a shared wedding except for Kamren Reynolds. And since this story began with him and Scott, he pleaded his case that it was only right to be given the ending he wanted. And Kam wanted the ending with lights and champagne and two weddings. Not very many of his family members agreed, but no one was bold enough to argue. Not even Shayla.

Only Shayla wasn't expecting Kam to go so off the rails with everything. He truly became a bridezilla with no job to contain his need to be in control. At all times. Shayla was starting to miss the mountains of Brazil. Or was it Japan? She giggled to herself looking over her penguin suit.

For this special wedding day of hers she wore a button down white silk shirt with an actual bra. She looked like a movie star with her hair braided back on the sides and Mohawk down the middle and pinned in the back. Her heavy eye makeup and light lip made her feel regal. Sexy even. The jitters inside her however were wearing on her.

"I hate people and they are all going to be looking at me." She whined, willing her knees to stop the bouncing up and down she was doing.

"I feel that." Stan told her, clapping her back. "But it's also exciting. Yeah?"

She giggled. "Yeah. I suppose it is."

Stan was wearing a white tux with a black undershirt feeling like a beast. His boys behind him were both in matching black tuxedos that made each of them look insanely fuckable. And they were both his. For life. It was something he couldn't name that made him cry just looking at them.

"He's such a lug." Kam complained, dabbing at his eyes.

"Yeah, he's our bossy lug." Scott laughed.

Kam didn't think he'd ever get here. To this point of feeling like he belonged to someone. And now he was blessed with two someone's. Things like this didn't happen every day to regular guys like him and he didn't know if he deserved it. But he was going to soak it up and love and be loved as long as he was allowed.

Scott thought he'd be a blubbering idiot. But he was more or so just ready to get the show on the road. He'd had a baby early. He had a life alone. He had all the worries of his world threatened every day with a sick kid.

And now....

Now his kid would be taken care if by someone who would treat her like a queen. Now his baby girl's spirit was back to where she belonged after months and months of Shayla being home and proving she wasn't leaving ever again. And his own heart Now had a safe place to land and men to help lighten the burden of life with him. Nah, Scott Walsh was ready to live.

And as they all walked down the aisle and said their I dos. He couldn't wait to see what was in store for all of them next, but until then he was going to savor every moment he had with this weird peculiar family of his that all started with a bunch of little bad ideas.

A/N: My babies are all so very cute and loveable. They would all like bonus chapters and another go at a book too. But not unless someone wants it. Otherwise I'm gonna work on other projects. If you've made it to the end and would like some more please comment and vote.
