Hermione's POV:

I sighed listening to Pansy rattle on about how she wanted their entrance to go once Harry had announced them. I've noticed I've done a lot of sighing since coming to this time.

"Anyways I need you to work that wonderful magic of yours and do that spell you did for Ginny's birthday party." I froze when she finished her sentence.

"Spell?" I asked trying to keep my eyes from going wide and my voice from wavering.

"Yeah the butterfly spell? I don't know what it's called but you invented it so you can do it." I only could nod.

"Uh yeah...sure I can do that." I turned away from her and grabbed future me's notepad from my clutch. I just knew it wouldn't be in here, but you can't knock a girl for trying.

"Hermione are you okay?" Ginny asked from where she sat with a cigarette between her lips. Another development I was learning is that Ginny smokes. Her dress is less revealing than mine, but from it I can see she has many more tattoos than I thought. Who was this woman? She squinted her eyes at me accusingly. "You know what babe," she said putting her cigarette out. She stood to her feet. "I don't really want the butterflies tonight...let's stick to simple." Pansy tried to argue, but Ginny kissed her quickly. "I need to talk with Mione, can you go check on the drinks?" Pansy just gave her a weird look, but nodded nonetheless. When it was just Ginny and I in the room, she turned to me and crossed her arms. "Alright, spill."

"What? What do you mean?" Oh shit. Ginny always was so smart. She probably realized I'm not the Hermione she knows...at least not currently.

"Somethings going on, so spill," she said stepping closer to me. I began to panic as she took another step. "Hermione you know you can't hide anything from me, so what is it?" Scared she would find out my real secret, I blurted out the first thing that came to mind.

"I'm pregnant!" Ginny froze in her place. Her eyes went wide and a smile replaced her frown.

"What?! Why didn't you tell me sooner?" She wrapped her arms around me. My body stood frozen. "Oh my god, does Draco know?" She asked pulling back. Her hands stayed placed on my shoulders.

"Uh...yes," I said watching her face. If it could even happen, her smile grew even bigger.

"That's amazing! How far along are you? Mums going to die!" Ginny turned around clapping her hands. The stress was coming in waves now.

"Erm...eight weeks?" I said as more of a question than a statement. I had no fucking clue how far along pregnant Hermione was. All I wanted to do was get out of this room and away from questions I couldn't properly answer.

"Wait until I tell Pansy! Wait, can I tell Pansy? Who all have you told?" Ginny had begun walking up and down the length of the room rattling off question after question. Weird to think, but I just wanted to get out and back to Draco.

"Gin!" She stopped pacing and turned to look at me. "I haven't told anyone but you and Draco...we want to keep it a secret for just a little while longer." She nodded and walked back to stand in front of me.

"Okay Mione, my lips are sealed!" She moved her fingers across her lips as if she were zipping them. I just smiled in return. "I better get out there before Pansy has my head. I'll check on you later." She moved to the door and turned back to me. "Honestly Mione, I don't think that's the only thing wrong...I'll find out what's got you so bothered recently." My smile fell as she turned and walked out the door. If future Ginny was anything like the Ginny I currently know, I knew it wouldn't be long before she figured it out. I shook my head and followed her shortly after back into the ballroom. Once I spotted the blonde hair, I made a beeline and tried to avoid bumping into anyone else. I really didn't want to have anymore conversations. Right before I reached him, I bumped into someone reeking of a sour alcohol stench.
