"Place him here Shadow!," Tails the fox called to the onyx hedgehog as he nodded placing Sonic's unconscious body onto the bed Tails had in his lab, mostly used for injuries but not for this type of issue, "Now what Tails?," The Sakura hedgehog asked "Now we figure out the best way to help him," Tails glanced at Shadow and Amy "Let's get started," Tails gave a determined look in his eyes as Shadow and Amy both nodded.

-Sonic's Pov-
"..Ughh..," I groan lifting my body off the ground "Geez my head is pounding badly," I rub my head as my migraine begins to ease away "Last thing I remember is..," I begin not being able to remember the last thing that'd happened, I lift my head as I still rub it slightly noticing as I try to notice where I am "...where am I..," I swiftly stand before doing a quick run around the black area.

"It's like it never ends-," I say as a white light flashes the area as the flash ends, two spotlights of bright yellow and dark blue stand there as my super sonic form floats under the yellow one and than under the dark blue one is a much darker version of myself "What's going on..?," I question "You are witnessing what chaos energy does to an individual," a voice responds, My body stiffens then muttering "..No..," "You recognize the form you call "Super Sonic" as it is the positive energy from the chaos emeralds, but what about the negative energy?," The voice answers again "You once used negative energy, back when you'd fought the metarex when your human friend Chris was captured by them along with your other friend cosmo," My eyes widen slightly "How do you know all this?!," I slightly yell before another flash of light shines.

-Amy's pov-
I watch Tails do the test as I hold Sonic's hand, Shadow is beside Tails helping all that he can when it comes to chaos energy I watch both of them before Tails leaves the room as it only was me and Shadow left in the room. We'd wouldn't have to be here if Eggman never attacked us all, I look down at his lifeless body, Sonic would have never gone into that form if it wasn't for Eggman!, I slightly clench my teeth as I add more pressure to Sonic's hand.

"Rose?," Shadow calls " H-H-Huh," I mutter out "Geez Rose he'll be okay, he's lasted his whole life against Eggman," Shadow reassured, I glanced toward Sonic's hand "I-I Know it's just," I sigh "He's never acted like this over a situation..," I mumble "What if this escalates to a disaster it wasn't too long ago that we stopped the metal virus, people still haven't adjusted from that, neither has Sonic!," I yelled, Tears beginning to form as I rubbed them away, Shadow glanced toward the door before sighing.

"Rose I know damn well that Sonic would try to stop this situation but he can't because he isn't in the right mind to because of this situation," Shadow looks back to me "It's happened to me before Rose... believe me you think you have everything under control but you're the one causing the problems while your friends try to help you," Shadow reassured as I look into his scarlet eyes "Even if Sonic isn't asking for help you can see it in his eyes that he's begging for help," Shadow finished as Tails walks back in with a plate of chill dogs "Sorry for the wait guys," Tails closes the door, "Thought you'd guys would be hungry," Tails hands me then Shadow a chill dog "What have you found out already?," I ask, Swallowing my bite down "Well it's chaos energy but from what I saw this energy has been inside of him for awhile now,"

-Sonic's Pov-
"The metarex, Chirs, Cosmo?, What's this gotta do with them?," I ask "The negative energy from the emeralds gave you a new form but much more powerful combined with rage, Dark Sonic," the voice answered as the form appeared under the dark blue spotlight "Then who are you, some sort of narrator?," I joked as another flash went by and I covered my eyes "Geez how many more," I looked back up "You're going to make me blind!-," I close my mouth as another Sonic faces me, but much darker "Hello Sonic," he responds "Uh...Hello me?," I mutter out as I reach my hand out to him "Just call me dark," He grins "So uhm question how do I leave this place??," I shook his hand quickly "I mean not to be rude but like I'd like to go back," I explained "Of course just close your eyes..," Dark said as Sonic closed his eyes.
