(In this au, Dr starling didn't traumatize Kit and Surge but they're still hurt, Also Dr starling still works for Eggman. So that's all so let's begin!!)

-Third Pov -
As Sonic dashes through downtown central noticing buildings destroyed or about to crumble, fires crackling as Mobians run through the streets "What have you done this time Eggman," Sonic thought, putting on a serious face before speeding up and running into downtown and into downtown. Just as Amy and Tails catch up to him "Phew, I know I love Sonic and all but I HATE when he runs into battle after he's been out for injuries!," Amy whined as Tails nodded his head "Heh but that's Sonic for you wild and free," Tails grins as he lifts off from the ground and flies down "Come on Amy!!," Tails yells, Amy sighs "Can't you just rest for a while Sonic..?," Amy mutters before running after Tails.

-Sonic's Pov-
"One, Two, Three!," I spoke as I let go of my spindash and I flew into three badniks "Fifteen, Sixteen...," Knuckles yelled "Hah you only at three," Knuckles joked as I fly by him in a spin dash "Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight..," I counted "Eighteen, nineteen, twenty," Knuckles yelled "Come on knucklehead let's go find Eggyhead," I say grabbing him "LET ME GO! Knuckles yells as I quickly stop in front of a burnbot as it quickly shoots fire out "Remind me again why I gave him the idea to give burnbot fire-," I say ducking down, pulling knuckles down with me "I don't know but how about you LET GO," Knuckles pulls my hand off of him, sending a strong kick towards burnbot as he knocks it down, short-circuiting it "Nice kick knux," I reach my hand out for a fist bump as he goes along with it

"Sonic The Hedgehog!!!," A voice yells out, I recognize that voice "Uh oh," I mutter as I see an angry pink hedgehog march down the street and a calm (but knowing him) angry orange kit "Just what do you think you're doing out in this battle," Amy demands "Cmon Ames I'm fine see-," I say as my lungs tighten up as. I grab ahold of my chest, my breathing becomes much heavier. they soon begin to swell up and begin burning "Sonic!!," Amy and Tails call out grabbing ahold of me "Ohohoho Is little Sonic having issues I see," A sinister voice responded "Egg....man," I chocked out, My throat began to burn up leading to it becoming hazily "This is a sight to see," Eggman floats around in his Eggcarrier as he circles his hand around the destroyed city, Amy points her hammer towards Eggman.

"What's your plan Eggman?!," Amy demanded "Ooh demanding aren't we," Eggman jokes "Well I've decided to rule over downtown," Eggman grins "Not gonna happen Eggman," Knuckles said jumping up, grappling onto Eggcarrier "Shut it down Eggman," Tails yells, I take a step back from Amy and Tails holding me as I grab ahold of my neck "That..Won't...Happen," I mutter out as pain from that message eradicates my body "Ohohoho and how may you stop me rat you barely up to battle!!," Eggman laughs "Face it you little runt, Your time is over!," Eggman continues as another burnbot comes around using it arms to grab me as I struggle to get free "Let him go!," Tails demands "This little runt is going to pay for ruining every single plan he's destroyed," Burnbot gripped his holding onto me as it begins to hurt "And the first thing he could do is allowing me to destroy him!," Eggman announced as Burnbot's claws begin to tear through the first layer of my skin.

-No Pov-
"CHAOS CONTROL!,"
A much darker voice than Sonic's called, as Amy, Knuckles, And Tails both widened their eyes to an emerald-like spear between the Burnbot's gut area, The bot drops Sonic as Tails quickly dashes toward his brother holding him tightly and away from Eggman, they slowly watched the bot fall backwards before a dark figure with red quils walks out from behind a stone wall "It's Shadow!," Amy recognizing the figure "Stand your army's down Ivo.,"  Shadow began, forming another chaos spear in his hand "And what will you do Shadow..," Eggman growled lowly, Shadow looks towards Tails and Sonic before pulling out his green chaos emerald "If I give this emerald to a certain hedgehog everything of yours Ivo will go," Shadow smirked "Shadow you better not be thinking of!-," Tails exclaimed "Tails you said it yourself you want him to go dark," Tails, Amy, Knuckles, and Sonic's eyes widen open, Sonic's eyes drift toward the kits blue eyes

"Buddy what's this about," Sonic mutters "Sonic I-I that's not the true reason why!," Tails exclaimed, Sonic pushed Tails arms off of him before getting up "Give me the emerald Shadow," Sonic said darkly. The onyx hedgehog looked at the hedgehog then the emerald "No, Tails is right this isn't what he meant," Shadow answered the blue hedgehog, Shadow noticing him gripping his hands into fists "Give me the fucking EMERALD," Sonic's dark voice leaked through. Everybody's eyes widen in shock at the hero of Mobius cussing, Sonic throws a punch at Shadow, The black hedgehog falls backward dropping the green emerald as Sonic goes for it.

"SONIC NO!," Amy yelled, summoning her hammer and then going after the blue blur. Amy now gained speed as she quickly swung her hammer at the hedgehog as quickly as Amy swung the quicker the hedgehog ducked down into a spin dash, picking up the chaos emerald while he was in his spin dash form.

Amy turned back around not noticing the blue hedgehog anymore, instead taking her hammer toward the dark hedgehog toward his neck "Find him," Amy growled "Go sense his chaos aura and fix this!," The pinkette hedgehog shouted, shoving her hammer back into Shadow's face who looked down at the hammer then at the angry pink hedgehog, then teleporting away. Amy lowered her hammer before noticing the two-tailed fox, whose eyes were still wide open with tears flowing out "This is my fault..," Amy heard the fox whisper "Tails..," Amy reached for the fox "Don't touch me!," Tails swiped Amy's hand away "If it wasn't for my dumb tests and me even mentioning any of this to shadow none of this would have happened!," Tails cried "I don't want to lose my big brother...," Amy's eyes begun to prick her with small tears, before hearing a sigh behind her.

"Oh I would just love to see and hear this sad scene," Eggman grinned "But I have more important things to do like taking over downtown," Eggman began to float away "Not so fast!," Amy gripped her hammer "If you're leaving I would personally like to escort you out!," Amy roared, aiming her hammer toward the egg carrier "Don't you dare PINKIE!!!!," Eggman flew through the air after Amy hit the egg carrier into the air, as she watched before not being able to see the egg carrier "Now that that's handled..," Amy turned toward Tails "Tails come on," Amy spoke lowly, spooking the two-tailed fox a bit "H-Huh?," Tails responded wiping the tears off his face soon meeting eyes with the pinkette hedgehog's bright green eyes.
