"Amy..," Sonic's voice echoed through the quiet forest "No No you must be mad at me..," Sonic said, confusing Amy "Be mad at you?," Amy repeated "I would never be mad at you, I'm more worried about you!," Amy told the hedgehog "Huh?," Sonic hopped down from the branch. 

"You're not mad at me for running away?," Sonic quietly asked, Amy, taking Sonic's hands "No silly poor Tails has been thinking it was his fault for doing those tests on you," Amy explained noticing Sonic frown before Sonic pulled Amy into a hug "I'm sorry for doing this," Sonic apologized, Amy widened her eyes in shocked before embracing the hug. She wasn't used to Sonic being affectionate because the hedgehog was used to people not hugging or touching him unless he did it to somebody else, But now Amy was glad she could help her friend in need.

Sonic slowly pulled away from the hug "How's Tails.," Sonic asked "He misses you deeply, And I think right now he and Shadow aren't on talking terms," Amy explained quickly noticing Sonic tense up when hearing Shadow's name "That sicko," Sonic's voice darken as a dark aura formed.

"Hey hey, Don't think about him," Amy quickly calming Sonic down "When the time come we'll deal with him, Got it?," Amy asked as he nodded "Now come on let's get you some food," Amy dragged the blue blur back toward her house as she forgot all about the strawberries she'd needed.

"You should be glad I made a batch of chill yesterday for Tails and had extras," Amy pulled the chill out of the fridge, then noticing the vanilla cake batter still in its bowl "Oh I completely forgot about the strawberries," Amy sighed "Strawberries?," Sonic asked confused "I was planning to make strawberry shortcake for Tails but I never got them," Amy explained with a smile "Don't worry Tails isn't the biggest fan of strawberry shortcake anywho," Sonic told Amy "He does though love vanilla cake with chocolate frosting," Sonic grinned, removing all the worries Amy had inside her.

"Sonic can I ask a question..?," Amy asked as she stirred the chill "What's up Ames," Sonic replied "Do you remember what happened after you left?," Amy looked behind her, The blue hedgehog's eyes going lifeless "Sonic..?," Amy quietly called out to the hedgehog who quickly blinked his eyes "H-Heh sorry Ames," Sonic laughed as he rubbed his head "Sonic you do realize that you were gone for two days?," Amy watched Sonic's reaction change from calm to a shocked reaction in seconds "What..," Sonic muttered "Sonic you need help!," Amy said "You need to admit it Sonic," Amy spoke as Sonic looked away "I know Ames, I just..," Sonic muttered "Here you need to eat," Amy placed a plate of chill dogs in front of the blue hedgehog as she formed a small but worried smile as Sonic smiled back.

"That troublesome little rat!," Doctor Eggman growled "Not only did he ruin my chances of ruling the world...,"

"But that pink-headed hedgehog DENTED MY POOR EGGCARRIER!,"

 Eggman cried as he turned around. After Amy had used her hammer on the Eggcarrier, he hadn't been able to remove the dent in it ever since. "There has to be something I could use against him to defeat him once and for all," Eggman spoke as he played the footage he got when fighting a few days ago.

Though something caught his eye, Eggman leaned into his table as he rewinded the playback before stopping when Sonic's dark aura began to appear "That aura...," Eggman leaned back into his chair, placing a finger onto his chin. His mind went back to the beginning when Sonic had almost killed him, an evil smirk slowly appeared on his face "Yes.. yes," Eggman turned his chair as he quickly stood up.
