"Ugh my head," The blue hero groaned, rubbing his head from the pain "Where am I this time?," Sonic questioned soon slowly looking around the area, noticing he was up on a tree branch.

It was one of his usual tree branches, he'd lean against, After long battles with Eggman he would come for a nap before quickly waking up to go deal with Eggman again.

Though the Tree was also close to a certain female hedgehog house Sonic had no clue what and why his body became so hot and flustered when she was around, his body didn't do it when he was dating Sally but this hedgehog was different.

Sonic glanced at his hand wrapped in sports tape as it held a blue communicator that his little brother made for him and the rest of his friends. Sonic tapped onto the screen and quickly noticed all the missed calls from his little brother as his gut twisted with guilt, He must've been so worried about him and Sonic was having issues with himself and his darker side. Sonic tapped one of the voicemails as he listened.

"Hey, big bro...Listen... I know you're mad at me and I don't even know if your communicator is still working or with you...but I sorry for doing all those tests on you..I-I just wanted my big brother back with his usual attitude and with me...," Tails voice paused sobs could be heard in the background "Please come back, I do miss you.,"

Sonic's eyes pricked with tears as guilt ran through his head (I-I shouldn't have gotten so angry at Tails) Sonic thought, before his mind raced to the certain hedgehog who started it all, Sonic clenched his fist tightly (He started this..he's the one who made Tails think I hate him!) Anger rose inside of Sonic, none of this would have happened if Shadow hadn't thrown his little brother under, all he was doing was trying his best to help him but Sonic thought it was his little brother's fault.

As Sonic was lost in thought, the soft breeze flew into his blue quills as the area was quiet. "It is him..," A soft voice whispered, 

SNAP

A branch from the ground broke as Sonic quickly moved to see who was stalking him

"Amy..,"

~Earlier~

DING!

The pink hedgehog carefully placed her oven mitts on, as she opened the oven to the delightful smell of her special double chocolate chip cookies. She was bringing a box full of dessert to Tails to cheer up the poor kit. Amy placed the hot pan onto the oven before quickly going back to her batter of vanilla cake, She'd planned to make a strawberry shortcake for the kit. Amy pulled her refrigerator open, ready to grab the strawberries she'd picked yesterday, as she spotted the container "Oh dear," Amy looked inside the container that barely had any strawberries in it "That won't be enough to cover the cake in..," Amy sighed "Guess I'll be going berry picking again," Amy placed the container back onto the fridge as she then made her way toward her front door.

As the pinkette hedgehog made her way toward the garden she'd made. It was behind her house in the trees a bit, Yeah she hated walking out in the rain to her garden but the spot her garden was beautiful, It had an icy clear river she'd collect water from for her plants and a lovely view of the mountains. It also held one certain tree a certain blue hedgehog would come and relax onto before being pounced back into battle.

Amy felt guilty for the hedgehog, He never got a good amount of rest, and he was always on the move because of the doctor, Amy smiled, That's why she fell in love with him, she loved his confidence and his cocky attitude and his smile...

The more she thought of him, the more she missed him it'd been two days since then and she'd sent search team after search team to look for the hedgehog but nobody could find him. Finally, Amy noticed the gate to her garden as she opened it, she slowly paused as that certain tree caught her attention (What if he's over there..) Amy thought as she carefully made her way over, feeling the breeze in her quills as she shivered. She turned around the corner now able to see the branch he would nap on.

That's when she saw it...

The end of Sonic's shoe was sitting there, Amy moved closer before seeing the hedgehog himself angry up on the branch. Amy stood there eyes widened open in shock "It is him..," Amy whispered as she took a step closer

!SNAP!

Amy frantically looked around before noticing the stick she'd stepped on, slowly looking back up and meeting shocked and guilty emerald eyes with hers.

"Amy..,"
