Every planet in the galactic federation gets complied and indexed. The Terans, "Humans" as they call themselfs were quite suprised when they realised that their planet is concidered a Death Planet.

"What do you mean death planet?" -Asked Sergant Miles

After a few noises that mirrored claws being scratched on a chalkboard, the communicator devices started speaking:
"Your planet Teran is concidered a D3 type planet. Indexed as 'Death Planet'. I get your confusion, Such a planet is quite rare to bear fruit of intelligent life, even more rare to be carbon based"

"What is your home planet indexed by the federation?" - Madly stood up the Sargant.

"Oh, Our lands..." The communication device acted up, spewing odd beeps and boops. The Zygrian hit the communication device with its claws.
"Is classified as an AA1 type planet. Its also known as 'Ooze Paradise'. Lush magenta vegetation amidst the brown skies and red seas. Its the number one turist attraction in the federation."

- Miles stood next to the Zygrian Beast baffled. Clearly, Earth could never be that bad. Of course the planet had some shortcomings, from humanmade pollution, to global warming throughout overhunting and the animal extinctions. "Wait" - He said with a stirn voice

"How much cycles have your race been a part of the federation? How long did you take to reach Faster Than Light Travel?"
-He asked with a grin.

The Zygrian clawed and hummed. Its translator beeped and booped again.
"As much as i would love to answer your questions Sergant, Looks like we'll have to continue this discussion later. We have visitors"

The door in the corner of the chamber bolted open, And red mist slowly filled the jailcell.

"SEND IN THE NEXT WARCRIMINAL" - The voice echoed through the door. A mechanical being slowly walked towards the Zygrian. With each step aloud thud

*thud
*thud
*thud

Standing next to the Zygrian, the mechanical being opened its cavities, unleashing  tens of mechanical tentacles, grasping the massive alien capitan, as it escorted from the jailcell. Sergant Milles tried to rip the tentacles off, but he was unsuccessful. He was useless. The bot and the captain was nowhere to be found. Milles alone in the cell, all he could think of was the 'death world'.
If humanity really thrived on one of the worst planets that could bear life, where would these mechanic monstrocities originate from?
