Hunter's POV :
It was an hour before I was supposed to meet Ashley and I was really nervous. "What if I say something stupid? Or what if it's really awkward?" These thoughts were stuck in my head as the time ticks away. It was now one thirty. My phone goes off as I get ready, it's Ashley. "Hey Ashley!" I say as I answer the phone. "Hey Hunter." She responds. "I was wondering what we were gonna do today." "It's a surprise." I say with a laugh. "Haha, ok!" She responds, her laugh sounded really cute over the phone. "Ok, I'll see you later!" She says, and hangs up the phone.

Ashley's POV :
You hear a knock at the door, it must be Hunter. "Hey Hun-." You say opening the door, realizing it was Sam. "Oh, hey Sam, I wasn't expecting you." "Uh, sorry 'bout that..." He says awkwardly. "I can come back another time if right-." He says, interrupted by a knock on the door. It was Hunter. This was going to be awkward.

"Hey Hunter." You say opening the door. "Hey Ashley! You ready?" Hunter says, then sees Sam. "Oh, hey there Sam!" Hunter said. "Oh, uh, I should probably get going, I gotta go somewhere.." Sam says. "Ok, bye Sam, see ya later."

Sam's POV :
"I'm too late." I think over and over in my head. Everything around seems dark and sad, even the headlights of the other cars. I finally get home and I fall asleep on the couch after watching TV.

Hunter's POV :

A bit after Ashley and I get to the car, she seemed to have a sad look on her face. "Hey, is something wrong Ashley?" I ask concerned. "Nah, it's nothing" She replied, I could tell that she was lying but I decided to change the subject. "So, wanna go to the local café or something?" I ask. "Sure." She responds. "She was ok before Sam showed up, could there be something that happened between them or something?" I think in the back of my mind trying not to focus on the question.
