Harry POV:

Bloody hell this girl was stunning. Her hair shinned in the dim light of the small house. I couldn't believe I was going to have a step sister. But I had to leave next week for Hogwarts.

The girl looked about a year younger than me. Dudley couldn't take his eyes off her. He slammed me into the wall, and I was kinda embarrassed. I clutched my arm, and looked up where the girl had her arm outstretched towards me.

"Are you okay?" She asked, with a weird accent that I couldn't place.

I was shocked, I expected her to be like a girl Dudley.

"I'm fine." I replied. And took her hand.

Dudley did the most unbelievable thing ever. He walked up to me and apologized. I took his hand in shock.

Then I realized... HE HAD A CRUSH ON HER! That's gross. I felt bad for her.

"I'll show her around the house." Dudley said. He hooked his arm through hers. She looked down hesitantly at their arms, then glanced at me with a uncomfortable smile.

I gave one right back, as Dudley began to show her around. I sighed and went to my room upstairs. I sat on my bed, and watched the photo of my parents dancing.

I smiled at it, and rubbed my scar. I glanced at my Hogwarts stuff, and couldn't wait for school starting up.

I wish that I could take Sophie with me. Aunt Petunia said that Dudley gets bored over the summer because he can't 'torment' me, so they decided to adopt a girl for him to hang out with.

I felt awful, knowing she would have to spend the entire summer with him. I wished I could have taken her with me to Hogwarts, but letting a Muggle into the school is strictly forbidden.

Light knocking came from my door.

"Come in." I called.

The door creaked open, and Sophie walked in.

She took a seat next to me on my bed.

"Are they your parents?" Sophie asked, pointing at the picture.

I nodded.

"Did you ever get to know them?" She asked.

"They died when I was young. I wish I could have, but I know that they were good people." I replied. She nodded as if she understood. "What about you? Did you know your parents?"

She sighed "I never knew them. I don't know who they are, but I wanna figure it out."

I nodded.

"May I?" She asked pointing to the picture.

I nodded and handed her the picture. She studied it carefully, I wondered what she was thinking. She flipped it over and looked at the back. I had no idea what she was doing.

I was about to ask, but she asked a question that made me pale hard.

She looked up from the picture with a confused expression. "In the picture, why are your parents moving?"
