Sophie POV:

I ran through the maze for hours, and finally found something. I turned a corner, bloodied and bruised, ready to collapse. Then I saw a square floating, it had a image inside. I walked towards it, making sure there are no traps. Once I got there, I studied the picture.

It was moving, like it was live. I saw through Moonlarks eyes. She was in a bathroom. Large sinks were in the middle of the room, and there were a lot of people. The one sitting next to me had blond hair and ice blue eyes. He was the best looking out of all of them. They were all talking, but the voices sounded muffled.

I touched the image, making Moonlark grab her head. My arm went through it, and into a colder area. I then stepped through, and entered a colder room. It was the same one I was in when Moonlark sent me away.

"You can't get rid of me that easily." I said.

Moonlark sprinted to a large room with multiple beds. "How are you doing this?"

"I found a checkpoint."

"A checkpoint. That has to be the dumbest thing I had ever heard." She scoffed.

I sighed. "Well now I'm here, so I'm going to get control."

"Im still in control. You aren't going to break through. Hero's help others, and villains only help themselves. And you are the Villain. You are in the Black Swan, and they are evil."

"I'm not the Villain. You are." I said, and strained to get out.

"You aren't-strong-enough." Moonlark gritted out, and punched a mirror, making glass fly everywhere.

I teleported back to the maze.

"NO!" I cried out.

I sank to my knees and sobbed. I felt the tears roll down my face, as I thought about getting out of here. It wasn't going to happen. I'm going to be stuck here forever.

I sobbed there for about five minutes. Then I started walking again. I walked through the maze, alone.

Then a blinding light filled my vision again. I covered my eyes, and opened them to find Moonlark standing in front of me.

"What happened?" I asked.

Moonlark looked concerned as she studied the maze. "I don't know."

Then suddenly a wave of nausea hit me. I sank to my knees, and Moonlark had the same reaction.

"What's going on?" She asked.

"Your in control. You tell me." I replied, then we both vomited. Red blisters formed all over us. My lungs felt like they were closing up. Moonlark clutched her chest in pain as we both threw up.

It went on for a while, until a wave of blue light lit up the maze. We both stopped throwing up, but the pain didn't go away.

Maybe I could get control right now. I glanced at Moonlark, then sprinted through the maze. She seemed to know exactly what I was thinking and sprinted after me. We dodged traps, and cut corners while running the the maze.

Then somehow she tackled me from behind. I hit the ground hard, where she flipped me over and pinned my arms above my head.

"Your not getting control that easily." She said.

"Neither of us are in control." I replied.

She realized that the only way to get in control was to end the other once and for all.

I kneed her in the chest, breaking free of her grasp.

We both rose to our feet and stared each other down. Then we charged at each other. We each landed punches, weakening each other. She seemed to be stronger than I was, but then again she wasn't trapped in a maze for a long period of time.

I grabbed her and pinned her against a the stone wall. "We could fix this and go back to normal. I just need control."

"Then what will I be? Trapped in your mind and watch you live your life." She said, and kicked me in the chest making me stumble back.

"You are making the world worse." She said while punching me. "You are the villain, and as long as you are around, the world is going to be in danger." She kicked me in the stomach, making me hit the wall.

I fell to the cold stone floor. I watched the blood trickle from my nose. I tried to rise back up, but she kicked my ribs making something crack.

"I'm sorry it had to be like this. But it's the only way." She said, walking towards me.

I tried to rise back up, but I simply fell back down. I spat out blood from my mouth, accepted defeat.

I watched Moonlark as she made her way to me.

"Do what's right." I whispered to her.

She raised her foot above my head, then as it came crashing down, she got slammed by someone into a wall.

A hand was stuck out to me, as I reluctantly took it, and found myself face to face with a boy with brown hair, and teal eyes.
