"What about this one?" Niall asked holding up a beautiful burgundy guitar. I smiled at how pretty it was and took it from him.
We had been here for almost an hour and it was complete paradise for both Niall and myself. We would pick up random guitars even if they weren't acoustic and jam out together. I hadn't come across a guitar that struck me as....well me. But this burgundy one was something else.
I sat down on a bench inside of the store and starting strumming the chords to a song I had forgotten the name of. I remembered every single chord to the song but I couldn't remember where I had heard it. The sound it made was absolutely stunning though.
"That's Harry's song! Um.... don't...yeah! Don't let me go, cause I'm tired of feeling alone." Niall said singing along with the chords.
Oh....right. I come to the mall to try and take my mind off of Harry and I still end up thinking about him. I hadn't noticed I had stopped strumming until Niall's voice faded off. I could feel myself starting to get worked up and I had to blink back a few tears that threatened to fall.
"I'll just get this one then we can go." I mumbled standing up with the guitar. My once silly and happy mood seemed distant now.
I went up to the cashier and paid for the guitar and a case to go with it. I also took a few free guitar picks and bought extra chords. In total I spent about £ 2000. I thanked the cashier and walked out of the store with Niall. We decided to stop in the food court to grab a quick bite to eat.
I sat down with my Chinese food and Niall had his pizza. Niall watched as I ate and it made me feel slightly self-conscious. After a few minutes it was getting really so I looked up and gave him a 'what are you looking at?' glare since I had food in my mouth.
"I didn't question you while we were in the guitar shop, but you're going to have to talk about your feelings eventually. It's not healthy to bottle up so many emotions. You're going to have to put down your tough girl act some day and talk about how you feel. Crying won't keep you strong forever, and I promise that when you're ready to open up, I'll be there for you. I know that you remember everything, which means you remember that we used to be best friends and to me, we still are." Niall said reaching across the table to hold my hands as a few tears fell from my eyes.
I smiled at my amazing best friend. I went to say something but a flash and click interrupted me, distracting me from my thoughts. I looked up to see a man with a camera aimed right at us. I glared at the man, only to have him take another photo. A few people looked our direction and I could tell that the group of teenage girls sitting on the other side of the food court had easily recognized Niall and starting speed walking over to us.
"Shit. Let's go." Niall whisper shouted. I nodded and stood up and grabbed my food tray. "Leave it, I'll get you lunch somewhere else."
I ditched my tray on the table and grabbed Niall leading him through the mall to the exit where I had parked my car closest too. We had lost everyone by the time we reached my car thankfully. I got in the driver side after putting my guitar in the back and Niall sat in the passenger seat.
I stayed there silent for a moment until Niall bursted out in laughter. His laugh was contagious and soon the both of us had red faces and teary eyes. Once we calmed down I turned the car on and drove back to the hotel that the boys house.
"You should come in for a bit. Harry's gone out until later tonight. I think the others are somewhere too." Niall offered stepping out of my car.
I thought about it and decided it couldn't be that bad. I got out of the car and followed Niall inside just as Zayn was leaving. When he saw me he wrapped in a big hug and twirled me around.
"It's good to see you again babe." Zayn cooed as he ruffled my already messy hair.
"Uggh, Zayn stop! My hair already looks like poo, but I missed too.
"Haha, I'm going out. I'll be back sometime after dinner." Zayn shouted as he got in his car.
Niall and I waved goodbye and then went inside. He kept to his promise and made a nice stir-fry and some tea.
"Here you go love." Niall said faking a British accent. I let out a light laugh and took the food from him.
We spent the entire day watching movies, cuddled up to each other. I had no feelings for Niall. Nothing like Harry.
I felt myself getting sleepy after dinner hour. Zayn, Louis and Liam had gotten home and were watching movies with us. I leaned my head on Niall's chest and he instinctively wrapped an arm around my shoulders to make me more comfortable.
I shut my eyes in attempt to get some sleep but the boys chatting made it a bit difficult. I was in that stage where you're asleep but still 100% aware of everything going on around you when I heard the front door open and someone stumbled into the living room.
"Harry, you said you were going to the movies. Why are you drunk-" Liam started but he was interrupted by Louis.
"Hazz are you crying? Harr-bear what's wrong?" Louis said.
I peeked my one eye open to see Harry flop onto the sofa next to Lou and bury his face into Lou's shoulder.
"I really miss her Lou. Can't you get her back for me? I love her." Harry cried.
Louis didn't say anything but he looked at me and noticed I was peeking before I had the chance to close my eyes. He gave me a sad look and I just nodded. It was about time I talked to him. And it would probably be easier since he was drunk.
"Hazz, you should go get ready for bed." Louis said. Harry moaned loudly but stood up and shuffled up to his bedroom, not noticing me in the progress.
I untucked myself from Niall's grasp and stood up off the sofa, stretching out.
"Wish me luck." I groaned as I followed where Harry had gone. This should be fun...
