"It's lovely to see you again Anne." I said greeting Harry's mother at the door. Robin and Gemma followed in after, giving me hugs in the process. They kicked off their shoes and followed Harry and I to the living room.

"It smells amazing. The smell alone is working up an appetite." Robin said patting his stomach as he took a seat on the sofa. Anne chuckled as she sat down beside him and leaned into his side.

"It's almost done; the table just needs to be set." Harry said standing up from the chair. His smile was glowing since he hadn't seen his family in months and he was definitely a family man.

"I can take care of that, you catch up with your family." I offered standing up from beside Gemma and walking towards the kitchen. As I passed by Harry he pecked my cheek and thanked me.

There was less than a minute left on the oven, and then the turkey would be done. All the side dishes were already prepared and just needed to be placed on the table. I slid an apron over my white dress so that it wouldn't get stained if anything spilt. As I was setting the plates out on the table, Gemma walked into the kitchen.

"Need a hand with anything?" She asked turning off the oven that had just started beeping.

"Yeah, that'd be lovely, thanks!" I said and instructed her on what needed to be done.

As we moved around the kitchen, we made small chat to catch up. It was strange how roun we were like sisters considering we barely spent time together.

When everything was placed nicely at the table, we called the others to join us. We said what we were thankful for over the holidays and then said a quick prayer before we dug in.

"So Sam, do you have any plans while the boys are away on tour?" Anne asked smiling sweetly. I knew she didn't mean it in a disrespectful way but it still cause me to wince mentally.

I felt Harry's hand squeeze my knee under the table. It was a touchy subject for me since whenever I wasn't with Harry, dark thoughts clouded my mind.

"No definite plans yet, but I'm sure I'll find a hobby to occupy my time." I said returning the smile.

"You should find a part time job at a recording studio or something since you love music and singing so much!" Gemma piped in.

"Yeah, that'd be sweet." I said, genuinely liking the idea.

"Or you could just come on tour with us..." Harry suggested for the hundredth time since the tour was announced.

"Harry... I already told you I can't. I'd just be a distraction." I said softly not liking the frown that was plastered on his flawless face, even though it made him look like a sad puppy.

"I know, I just don't want to be away from you for that long."

"It's not like we wont be able to Skype or call each other, and I'll come watch some of your shows." I said brightening up his mood.

"Okay!" He chuckled kissing my cheek and returning to the conversation between his parents and Gemma.

The topic changed constantly through out the meal and we talked about everything. For once it felt like I had a proper family. I never had this with Louis and my dad since my mom died. Now my dads still lives in the shadows of Cheshire despite mine and Louis best efforts to help him out.

I felt distracted for the rest of the night. my mind was off in lala land thinking about random events and people. Once Harry's family had left I wandered into the bathroom and started filling up the tub with a bubble bath.

"Sam?" Harry asked knocking on the door to the bathroom. I slipped off my towel and sunk my body beneath the bubble before answering.

"You can come in." I said loud enough for him to hear me on the other side of the door.

"Are you alright love? You seemed kind of distant after dinner." Harry said with a concerned look.

"Yeah my mind just kept wandering." I said shrugging my shoulders and running my hands over top of the bubbles.

Harry moved one of the candles that was on the edge of the tub and rested his forearms there. He placed his chin on his arms and just gazed into my eyes.

"What were you thinking about?" Harry wondered out loud.

"Honestly everything. My mom, my dad, the tour, getting a job, you, but I couldn't stop thinking about Riley. It just seems so suspicious that HE was there last night. I have this bad feeling about it in my gut." I worried.

Harry grabbed my wet hand in his over sized, dry one and kissed my knuckles one at a time. he kept my hand in both of his as he spoke.

"I'm not going to let anyone hurt you. No matter what, I'm here for you." He whispered kissing my forehead and then resting his chin back on his forearms.

"You won't ever leave me?" I asked my voice croaking from how emotionally Harry made me when he said sweet things like this.

"Not in a million years." he stated, not a shadow of a doubt in his voice.

"I think I'm ready to tell you about what happened back in Colorado..."

A/N: so...Riley's a boy! And omg! SHE'S GONNA TELL HARRY! what do you think harry's reaction would be?
