"Sam you're on now!" The back stage attendant called and I immediately felt someone else pushing me towards the stage.

In the rush of everything I accidentally dropped my phone not being able to see what the text from Dustin had said. I saw Louis pick it up for me and shove it in his pocket before giving me a big smile and thumbs up for good luck.

Within a minute I was standing on center stage, surrounded by my props as the host announced me. Suddenly the blinding stage lights were on me and I could only see the front row of the audience. But that's all I need to see for an uncomfortable feeling to settle in the pit of my stomach. Sitting side by side, smiling deviously was none other than Dustin Andrews and Matt Hughes.

The music started playing and I had to recompose myself quickly. I started the first line out wobbly and I struggled to find Harry on the side stage. Once my eyes locked with his everything else vanished and it was just me and my performance. I started the choreography right on queue and I managed to nail every single beat and note.

As the final high note came, I changed my voice to falsetto one last time and hit it perfectly. The crowd erupted into cheers and I felt a smile spread across my face. Light traces of perspiration trickled along my forehead as the host came to stand beside me. I listened to the host as he complemented me but I felt my eyes scanning the front row of the audience. Neither Dustin nor Matt were there though. It couldn't have possibly been my imagination, could it? No I definitely saw them.

As the judges began to compliment me I noticed that Jeff, my mentor had an emotion across his face that I couldn't quite read. It wasn't happy or mad but more like fright and guilt. He looked pale enough to pass out.

"Jeff how do you think Samantha did?" The host asked.

"I think she did a fine job." Jeff said ending the conversation there. The host then went on to explain to the audience how to vote for me and I walked off the stage.

As soon as I got off the stage I was attacked in a big hug by all the boys.

"Sam you rocked it out there." Zayn said giving me a light squeeze. The other boys agreed but I didn't feel so excited anymore. Do you know that feeling when you know something bad is about to happen? Well that's what I'm feeling right now.

"Thanks guys. Lou can I have my phone please." I asked. He nodded and pulled my phone out of his pocket. I grabbed it from him and walked off with out saying another word.

"What's wrong with her?" I heard Niall asked as I turned down a hallway.

"Just give her some space, she's probably nervous." Liam said. I reminded myself to thank Liam later as I found an empty room and walked in.

I felt another presence following behind me but I ignored it. It's probably Harry or a backstage attendant.

I sat down on the floor in the middle of the room and pulled out my phone. I noticed that along with the message I had received from Dustin earlier there was another from an unknown number. I opened the one from Dustin first and felt my eyes go wide and my heartbeat increase.

I'll be in the crowd with an old friend of yours. You better throw the competition and mess up on your performance or you won't like the consequence. Xx -Dustin

The scared feeling inside of me began to build up. I just nailed my performance. I didn't mess up at all except for the very first line. I took a deep breath as I opened the next message.

Great performance love. But not what we wanted. We're coming for you now. Xx - Matt

I didn't have time to wrapped my head around what was going on because the door to the room I was in creaked open. Before I could turn around to see who it was, a towel was squeezed over my mouth and I started to feel light headed. I heard a muffled yell and a gun shot before everything went black.

*Harry's P.O.V.

I watched as Sam walked off with her phone. It was visible something was upsetting her but Liam was right. She probably just needed a little space to collect herself. I waited backstage and watched the winner form last years xFactor performance there new single.

"I'm gonna go to the washroom." Niall stated before getting up and leaving in the direction that Sam had gone. The washrooms were the other way but I didn't say anything because I didn't want Sam to be alone right now.

A few minutes after he left his loud Irish accent rung out through the entire arena. "Get away from her!"

I bolted up right away along with the other boys and raced after were his voice came from. Seconds later the sound of a gun shot sounded and I felt myself pick up the speed if that was even possible.

The boys were right on my heels as I turned into the last hallway and saw Niall lying on the ground. I yelled for a paramedic as soon as I saw the pool of blood surrounding the lower half of his body.

"Shit, Niall what happened." I asked as I flipped his body over and saw the blood coming from his knee.

"It was Jacob's brother and the blonde kid. He took Sam and sh-shot me." Niall whimpered.

I didn't have time to say anything else because I was being pushed back by the paramedics who needed to help Niall. As the reality of the situation sunk in, I felt my body collapse onto the ground. Louis' voice was the only thing I could hear and it still seemed distant.

"Harry, get up. Come on we have to go meet Niall at the hospital!" He yelled tugging me.

"Th-they took h-her. Lou they g-got Sam." I stuttered out trying to explain what Niall had told me since Louis and the others weren't there. I could see the worry and hurt in Louis' eyes but his face stayed emotionless.

"She'll be fine Hazz, we'll get her back but right now we have to go to the hospital." Louis said, his voice weak and he picked up my numb body with some help from Zayn and dragged me out of the arena.

You did not expect that did ya? Omg! I do not know what to write in the next chapter! So please bare with me until i could find a good idea.
