☁️ Dreamlike Movies - Gonta X M!Reader☁️

After a long and tiring week (mostly for you, Gonta enjoys what he does and doesn't find it tiring) it was time to wind down. You had talked about watching movies with Gonta one night, and this was the night.

It was a warm Friday evening, the sun had just set and the stars shone bright. You were staring up into the sky when the microwave beeped, telling you that your popcorn is ready. You tried pulling the paper bag filled with popcorn out, almost burning your fingers.

Gonta was in the living room, you'd trusted him with making the couch cozy for the both of you,"OW!!" you accidentally touched a kernel that was still way too hot, like metal heated by the sun. You had your eyes squeezed shut for a good few seconds, leading you to hear quick and rather loud footsteps coming into the kitchen,"Is Y/N okay!?" Gonta asked.

"Yeah I'm fine Gonta.. Just almost burnt myself.." You tried to reassure him you're fine but knowing him he'd try his best to help you 'recover' so to speak,"Are you sure? Gonta thinks it hurts too much.." He held your hand that had gotten burnt,"Im fine Gonta, come on, let's go watch a movie. The popcorn is done anyways."

You both went to the living room where a sort of fort had been built on the couch,"That looks so cozy!" You smiled, looking back at Gonta,"Gonta made sure it's cozy enough for you!"

"Aww, thank you Gonta!" You sat on the couch alongside him, leaning onto him and picking up the remote to scroll through Disney +. You looked up at your fiancé, who was looking at all the moves on the TV screen. You continued looking through, until Gonta gently held your free hand,"A Bug's Life!" He exclaimed. You expected him to spot that movie,"You wanna watch A Bug's Life?" You asked and looked over.

Gonta eagerly nodded,"Kokichi also told Gonta about Bee Movie!" He said. Of course Kokichi told him,"We can watch A Bug's Life first and then watch the bee movie if you want?" You asked, Gonta nodded once again.

You enjoyed seeing him happy like that, a childish side that was unmissable but nice to see. You turned on the movie, putting the remote down and leaning back to snuggle into Gonta.

Almost 2 hours passed, Gonta's gaze solely being focused on the movie. When the credits started playing he finally looked down to you, seeing you were trying your best to stay awake. You couldn't really tell if you were awake or not, you were so tired everything felt like a dream (especially the movie),"Y/N?" Gonta shook you a little bit, waking you up from your little trance,"Hm..? Oh is the movie finished..?"

"Yeah! But Gonta wants to ask, did Y/N find it boring..?" He asked,"No, don't worry Gonta.. I'm just very tired from work.." You reassured him. He brought you into a tight hug, not too tight as to not hurt you. You rested your head against his chest,"We can watch the Bee Movie if you want.." You suggested. Gonta once again seemed really excited, letting you pick up the remote to put the movie on.

You felt Gonta squeeze you tighter and bring you closer in, effectively making it so you were basically laying on top of him. You both watched the Bee Movie intently, you taking note of all the memes and Gonta just enjoying the fact it's about bees.

The credits started rolling, making you almost drift off to sleep until Gonta woke you up,"Are you tired? Gonta can carry you to bed!" He suggested. You shook your head,"Nah... Let's just sleep down here for tonight.." You said. Moments later Gonta shuffled around a bit to get himself comfy, and finally settling down whilst gently holding you as you drifted off to sleep.
