I speed through the door. I run upstairs following the screaming into Rosalie's and Emmett's bedroom. There Tanya lays with no pants or underwear on and her legs spread wide and knees propped up. Rosalie is in between Tanya's legs ready to catch the baby. I hear several people running up the stairs and I growl and block the door. No one needs to see my mates vagina but me! And Rose at the moment. But that's beside the point! Everybody is trying to come upstairs to help. I growl and shut the door and tell everyone that it's all ok. "Tanya is having our baby. She's just in a lot of pain from labor. No one needs to go in there right now so please go downstairs and wait. I'll inform you when the baby is born and how Tanya is doing as soon as I can." They all nod and go downstairs except for Carlisle. He must have just gotten back. "I'm not sure how it's possible for Tanya to be pregnant but if she is in fact pregnant then I can help deliver the baby." Carlisle offers. "She is for certain pregnant. I'd appreciate it if you'd help Rose deliver the baby. Thank you Carlisle." We go in the bedroom and I realize Renesmee is laying on a blanket on the floor in the corner. Just laying there watching us. "Rose thank you for helping but Carlisle will take it from here. You can go hunt. I understand it's been a while since you have hunted. You can take Renesmee to Carmen and she can watch her a bit." I say. "Ok sounds good to me. I'm starving. Good luck and congratulations. She says with a sad smile. I have to ask about that but right now is not the time. Rosalie picks Renesmee up and walks out of the room. I speed to Tanya's side and hold her hand and kiss her forehead. She is heavily breathing. "I'm so sorry I hadn't gotten here sooner!" She is heavily breathing. "Aaaahhh! It's alright...Ooohhh! Ugh! You needed to protect everyone. Is everyone ok? We won the fight right?!" She asks breathlessly. "Yes we won. No need to worry I'll tell you about it later right now let's focus on having our baby." I try comforting her as she screams out. "It's ok sweetheart. It'll be over soon. You're doing so great. Keep pushing her out. I just know it's going to be a beautiful girl just like her Momma." "I see the head! Keep pushing Tanya! We're almost there!" Carlisle encourages her. "I can't wait to meet her! I hope she has your blonde hair! What names were you thinking about? I like Ashlyn. Or Blaze if it's a boy?" I voice my thoughts out loud. Tanya screams and a baby slides out of her vagina. He bites down on the umbilical cord and it cuts off and he ties it. I realize it's a boy. A boy that look's just like me with black hair and chocolate brown eyes and a button nose. Carlisle calls for Esme as he wraps the baby in a blue throw blanket he steals from the chair beside the bed. "Esme come up here I need your help Darling and bring another blanket please. She flies through the door. "Take the baby and get him cleaned up." He takes the extra blanket from her as he hands my boy to her and goes back to Tanya and I. Tanya is still screaming. Squeezing the shit out of my hand. I'm kind of worried she's going to make it crumble into pieces if she keeps squeezing so hard. "Uuugghh! She keeps pushing and another baby pops out of her! "Twins?! I'm a daddy twice?!" I think if I wasn't a vampire I'd faint! Carlisle cuts the umbilical cord with his teeth again and ties it in a knot. I watch him and realize I was right. We have a beautiful little blonde daughter. With my chocolate brown eyes. And a button nose. Carlisle wraps the baby in a green throw blanket and Esme comes in with my son in a white onesie and a soft blue baby blanket. I wonder where they got the baby things? Esme hands me my son and takes my daughter from Carlisle. "I'll get her cleaned up and will bring her back to you quickly Ember." Esme says. I look to Tanya and she looks ragged for a vampire. Carlisle comes back to Tanya just as she pushes out the after birth. "I'll be right back." Carlisle zooms out of the room only to return with things to clean up the afterbirth and to clean Tanya up down there. Tanya looks to me holding the baby and asks to hold him. "Can I hold my firstborn? Boy or girl love?" "Boy as far as we know. I want Carlisle to do tests to be sure they're not like me." I hand her our son. "Blaze. Blaze sounds like a good name for him love but what about their middle and last name?" She wonders. "I like Blaze Ashton Denali. What do you think?" I ask. "What about Swan?" She asks. "When we marry, and believe me I'll be asking you to marry me soon, I'll be taking your name instead. You've been a Denali a long time. You even have a coven named after you. I'm not changing your name after all you've accomplished with that name." I explain. Tanya's eyes get glassy looking and she looks at me as if I had hung the moon! "Thank you love! I would love it if you took my name!" She smiles at me then down at our son. Esme walks in with our daughter. She hands her to me and walks out of the room giving us some time alone as a family. Carlisle smiles at us and follows his wife shutting the door behind him. I carefully lay beside my mate and look down at our daughter. She's wearing a pink onesie that says "I love daddy!" I feel my eyes get glassy but know no tears will fall. "So what is Ashlyn's full name going to be babe?" I ask Tanya. "Ashlyn Rose Denali. Rosalie was a great help and would have finished delivering had Carlisle not come. I'd name her Ashlyn Carlisle but that just doesn't sound as smooth as Ashlyn Rose." Tanya says. "It's a beautiful name for a beautiful little girl. Maybe the next kid we'll name Carly or Carlisle?" "I'm not pushing out another kid so soon! And we're lucky to have had the twins! Let alone a third child!" Tanya admonishes me. I chuckle and say, "Ok not right away. But some day. And if it's a second power or something like Eleazar thinks I guess that means I'm going to have to start wearing condoms if you're not ready for a third baby." I wink at her and she laughs and shakes her head at me. "Speaking of Rose, why did she look so sad when she congratulated me earlier for being a daddy?" I wonder. Tanya's smile fades and she looks sad. "Rosalie has always wanted children of her own. It's not really possible as a vampire." She explains. "Well I'm a baby maker. I could help her out-" "There's no way in hell you're going to have sex with Rosalie so she can have a baby!" Tanya starts yelling. "Calm down love. You'll wake the twins. And I wasn't saying sex. I meant I'd donate my swimmers and Carlisle could insert it in her like they'd do at a fraternity clinic. But if you're not ok with that it's ok. I was just thinking out loud again. I've really got to stop doing that." I explain. "Oh...I guess that'd be ok? If it gives my friend a chance at happiness who am I to stop her? But Emmett has to be ok with it too." Tanya replies. "Awesome! I get to make that sadness go away! I hate seeing people sad and love when I can help! I can't wait to talk to her and Emmett. Maybe I should check with Emmett before I say anything to Rose and get her hopes up?" I wonder. I hear several quiet knocks on the door. Thank goodness Tanya put on some of Roses clothes before we got comfortable in the bed. "Come in" Tanya says. Emmett comes in grinning from ear to ear. "Being a vampire, I couldn't help but overhear you guys. I love the idea. I want my Rosy happy. She's wanted to be a mommy for decades! And I'd be so stoked to be a daddy! Rose is still hunting so it'll still be a surprise for her. I can't thank you enough Ember!" "I'm not guaranteeing it'll work. We're not sure how it worked for us but I'm willing to try if you guys are." I smile at him. "Do you mind if I ask her or did you want to tell her Emmett?" I ask. "It's your idea. You should be the one to talk to her about it. I just suggest not holding the babies when you do. She's liable to pounce on you!" Tanya growls. "To hug Ember! To hug her. Nothing else! Calm down Tanya! I wouldn't be ok with anything else." Emmett says. "Everyone is itching to meet the new family members so get your butts down here so we can kiss some babies!" Emmett laughs. We both get up and carry the twins carefully down the stairs. Kate zooms over and insists holding her nephew since she's the Aunt. Carmen comes over and asks to hold Ashlyn. Eleazar looks over his wife's shoulder smiling fondly at his niece. Tanya hands her off and Eleazar looks over his wife's shoulder smiling fondly at his niece.Once we're sure the twins are comfortable in their aunts arms we embrace and I quickly kiss Tanya. Then she shoves her face in my neck and though it's muffled, I hear her say "I love you! So much!" And I return the sentiment, "I love you more."
