I don't actually know if my writing is any good so I'd appreciate it if anyone who reads Fire and Ice would personal message me or comment any feedback and id be happy to take it on board.

Also, if anyone wants to make a cover that I could put in the media section you could send it to me and I'd give you full credit! It would be awesome to see what you guys come up with.

On my drive home I received a message from Holly. It read "Make yourself useful, get the groceries would you" followed by a shopping list.

I rolled my eyes, of course she'd be as blunt as that.

The store was about mid way between school and home so I guess it wasn't a problem.

I pulled into the parking lot and made my way into the store.

I'd collected almost all of the items from the list when I decide I'd bake a cake later when I got home.

I know, I know, spontaneous baking after school is a little strange, but it was fun and especially since I just finished high school I thought I'd deserved something sweet.

I searched around for the cocoa powder, damning the supermarket for being so darn confusing, when I heard a familiar voice.

I sneered at the very sound of it.

Jeremiah. His unmistakable voice rang out from the aisle next to mine.

"I can't believe he beat me up" Jeremiah whispered violently. "I should have one that fight."

"I know you would have but..." Said on of Jeremiah's friend, and from what I believe, his only friend.

"But what?!" Jeremiah whisper shouted, becoming more aggressive by the second.

I peaked through the cereal boxes on the shelf into the other aisle.

"The dude just seems double the size of you... And-" Jeremiah's friend began.

"And what?!" Jeremiah spat angrily, his friend flinching backwards at his words.

"Well he's been in a lot more fights then you, and from what I've heard, he's won them all" his friend finally got out.

Jeremiah shook his head and rubbed the back of his neck.

"But dude, you should have seen after the fight, when you were out cold, this random girl started talking to him and then all of a sudden, they were running together" the friend began "so I went to take a look at what they were doing and you wouldn't believe it."

"What?" Jeremiah asked, feigning interest.

"He'd left her in the guys locker room surrounded by the football team! It was hilarious" The friend began laughing and Jeremiah joined in.

Seriously! The last day of school and I'll still be the laughing stock, I thought to myself angrily.

I'd had enough, I continued on my search for the cocoa powder and left the supermarket, heading home.

I pulled into the driveway of my house to find the front lawn littered with toys from Abigail's abnormally large collection.

I brought all of the shopping into the house and dropped the bags onto the kitchen counter with a huff, damn those things were heavy.

I turned and sauntered into the living room only to find Holly lying down on the couch watching 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians'.

The show was utter rubbish, she'd made me watch it once before. I don't know why she watched such materialistic shows like that, it was a mystery to all.

"Holly, if you're going to pick up Abigail from daycare early and let her play out the front, with you watching her carefully I hope, then you have to pick up her toys after. She's four, she wouldn't do it herself and you know it" I said, annoyed. Holly had always been lazy.

God forbid if she ever had a baby, I don't know how she'd survive. Or the baby for that matter.

"She's perfectly capable of doing that by herself, I told her that too" holly said snobishly, her noise pointed in the air.

I rolled my eyes and shook my head. For someone that's an adult, she sure acts more of the child then most children in this world.

After hastily packing up the collection of toys off the front lawn, I went to the kitchen to begin making the cake.

I poured the ingredients into a bowl and began searching for the eggs.

"Indi Indi you're home!!" A little squeaky voice shouted.

A smile spread across my lips as I turned and found my four year old sister running towards me, her pigtails flying behind her.

She jumped up into my arms and I was suddenly hit with a thousand different smells. It stung my eyes and brought tears to them.

"Abby, where have you been playing?!" I asked exasperated.

"In Holly's room" she answered, her eyes glistening.

"What have you been doing in there?" I asked humoured.

"I was pretending that I was those really pretty girls that you see on the telly, you know, the ones that spray the perfumes on them" Abby replied animatedly, hands flying about making gestures.

I began laughing hysterically. She's been wasting all of Holly's perfumes. That was hilarious and adorable!

"What are you doing Indi?" She asked curiosity getting the best of her.

"I'm making a cake" I answered, knowing all too well that she'd want to help out now that I told her.

"Can I do the eggs, please?!" She cried enthusiastically.

"Of course gorgeous" I answered the smile still evident on my lips.

As I helped her crack the eggs and mix the ingredients, I couldn't help but think that I had the cutest sister in the world, and the most devilish sister in the world. How'd that work out?

And what did that make me?

After placing the cake in the oven both Abby and I relaxed in the lounge room, stealing the remote off Holly and putting one of Abby's shows on.

It was as terrible as watching the Kardashians, but I could just stand it. Just.

Watching Holly saunter out of the room, grumbling to herself, made me chuckle and praise Abby.

She was the bestest sister in the world.

Resting my head back, I decided to rest for a bit before taking the cake out.
