I woke up only an hour ago to the terrible, heartbreaking and unexpected news that Windham Rotunda aka Bray Wyatt has passed away at the way too young age of 36.
I didnt want to believe it and my heart absolutely shattered. Im actually still in denial over this. Bray was such a huge inspiration and Ive been a fan of his since the beginning.
He was an absolutely brilliant, next level storyteller. The way he was able to capture the imagination of so many was amazing to see. Not everyone understood the in ring character of Bray but he was able to connect to his fans in the absolute best way.
Now I, obviously, didnt know the man personally. I only wrote this story about outcasts with big hearts and from what I can read in the tweets and IG posts from his fans and family, even though he was clearly not an outcast, he had the biggest heart imaginable. Its tough to see life ripping away one of the good ones too early.
My heart goes out to his friends and family in this extremely difficult time. I know from experience that losing a loved one is never easy, especially when its so unexpected.
Windham, may you rest in piece alongside your dear friend Jon Huber. Just like him you will be sorely missed.
