*Lauren's POV*
I giggled and grabbed Robert's hand. "The patriots are losing come on let me go save him before he breaks the TV again."
"Again?" Robert's voice came behind me.
"Yea, he threw a battle helmet at the TV the last time they lost." I walked down to the living room, Robert following me. I sat down on the sofa, glad that the Noir's were gone. I patted the seat next to me. Robert sat down next to me glancing worriedly at my father.
"Patriots losing again?"
My father grunted not saying anything leaning forward on his knees.
"Do you want to get coffee?" I whispered in Robert's ear.
"Sure, what about your dad?" Robert whispered back.
"He'll be fine come on." I stood up and grabbed my purse. "I'm going to get coffee. I'll be back later." I called over my shoulder tugging Robert to the door. Once we were in his car Robert turned to me.
"Where are we really going?"
"Anywhere off base! I want to kiss you again."
"We can't do that again Lauren."
I raised an eyebrow at Robert. "Are you seriously telling me you don't want to do that again?"
"Of course I want to do it again! We can't do it again." Robert threw his hands up.
"Because your my teacher. Ok well maybe I should just head back inside." My shoulder's slumped down and I reached for the door handle. Before I could open the door Robert's hand was on mine. I turned to Robert and looked him in the eyes.
"I'm going to hell, it's official. Damn it come here." Robert crushed his lips to mine. We kissed for a few minutes only to pull apart when a car alarm sounded.
I grinned slyly at Robert.
"Still want that coffee?" Robert ran a hand through his hair nervously.
I nodded a grin spreading across my face. "Yea let's get off base though."
"Oh we are always going to go off base." We drove to the nearest Starbucks off base. I ordered a hot apple cider and Robert got a hot chocolate. "Come on let's go somewhere we can talk."
I got back in Robert's car and he drove for a little while longer before pulling into a small town house's driveway.
"Is this your place?" I followed Robert out to the patio and watched as he sat down on the small bench.
