He finds himself kissing the brunette back. After what felt like eternity the blonde suddenly pulled away looking on the ground suddenly while his mind was so fogged up from all the possible ways he could mess this up now.
The brunette looks away burying his head back onto his knees not knowing what to say or do now.
''You have nothing to apologise for'' The blonde finishes his sentence he had begun saying before being interrupted.
He was fidgeting with his hands not knowing whether to move or even take another breath at this point.
''Sorry'' the brunette mumbles beneath his voice.
Dream turns his head towards the brunette who still had his face buried onto his knees.
''For what exactly?'' he then quietly asks.
''Everything Dream, everything'' The brunette chuckles to himself in an attempt to mock his stupid actions.
''For dragging you along somewhere you shouldn't have to witness'' his voice was now breaking as he continued, ''For even attempting to kiss you, because I truly don't know why I did that'' he added tears rolling down his eyes again.
Dream tries to hold back his emotions, a singular tear rolling down his cheek. Not knowing what to say or do anymore because so much had happened in the matter of the last fifteen minutes.
''It's okay really'' he then quickly mumbles.
The brunette suddenly raises his head up, looking at the blonde as he sees the tear rolling down his eyes.
''No Dream, it is not okay'' he then reasons.
''I kissed you because of my problems, not wanting to think about them''
He told the taller one again, ''and i'm so so sorry'' he finished.
The silence fills between the boys for a few minutes before the brunette gets himself up the cold sidewalk the boys had been sitting on, ''Just forget the kiss'' was all the brunette was asking for.
Dream nods in agreement, making sure not to push anything. Feeling like everything good he once had built with the brunette was now crumbling down in the matter of seconds.
The brunette offering his hand to help the blonde stand up, ''I've gotten a uber for you''
''Me? What about yourself?'' Dream furrowed his brow confused.
''I'll walk, I'll be fine'' the brunette then added.
''You really don't have to, George'' the blonde tries.
''I don't mind, let's get you back to the dorm safe'' he tried again, unsuccessfully as the brunette is now walking to some unknown direction.
Dream's insides were crushing him, his heart aches for the brunette boy, unsure if he'll get home safe or should he try to run after the boy. Even if he would attempt to so the brunette would not budge and still insist for Dream to take the uber.
He decided against it as he wanted to give the brunette some sort of distance between them. But he couldn't help the stinging feeling of the brunette walking home in the dark alone. What if something bad happened to him, it is getting late too.
After Dream got back to the dorm room, the brunette wasn't there as he had expected.
He was worried sick for the brunette boy. What if something happened to him and it would be all his fault?
Neither he could go out for a search either because he didn't know the city nearly as much as the brunette did.
