Chapter-15: Dil-e-Umeed.

She was looking at him with admiration that she forgot where she was standing and what she was doing. But the realization hit her when she noticed that her husband was looking at him questioningly.
He looked at her surprisingly and raised his eyebrow to ask her what happened. She averted her gaze and lowered her head feeling embarrassed. She immediately turned towards the door and entered inside hurriedly. He shrugged his shoulder strangely and followed her.
Both entered the living room making everyone look at them with adoration-filled eyes. Afreen begum spontaneously said Mashallah to protect them from any evil eyes. They smiled at them lovingly.
Mahenoor sat beside Afreen Begum to hide herself from her husband's intense glance. While Zarar sat in front of her beside Zain. He looked at her, who was nervously fidgeting her fingers under his gaze.
Everyone was talking with each other but Zain was looking at both of them holding mischievousness in his eyes. He smirked and looked at zarar, who looked at Mahenoor from the corner of his eyes. While Mahenoor tucked her strands behind her ears.
"Bhai, bhabhi ko nazar lag jayegi. " He leaned towards him and whispered in his ear.
Zarar looked at him with questioning eyes. Asking him the meaning of his redundant statement.
He passed him the mischievous smile, leaned towards him once again, and said "Jis trha aap bahane se bhabhi ko dekh rhe hai to... " He left the sentence incomplete and shrugged his shoulder casually with a teasing smile.
"I was not looking at her, I'm looking at ammi." He said looking here and there and placing his arms around his shoulder.
"Ohhh... Okay okay. "He nodded his head as he believed that he was not looking at his wife but his mother and showed a thumbs-up.
Zarar just rolled his eyes and ignored his teasing. But not forget to control himself so as not to make himself more embarrassed in front of his brother.
Zain chuckled but had to stop when he felt some pressure around his shoulder. He looked to see that it was his brother's arm. He immediately stopped his testing session and sat seriously. He still remembers yesterday's punches.
After some time they had breakfast together and the gentlemen left the place for their offices to do their work. Whereas ladies did their remaining chores and younger ones also left for their college.
******************* It was the afternoon and the ladies had just finished their chores and were sitting at the dining table to have some rest.
They were randomly talking about something when Sara Begum went to her to freshen up. Now there was just Afreen and Mahenoor present.
