Charles' pov
Is it wrong to invite a volunteer at your job to the club with a bunch of your mates? She was a truly beautiful girl and I really didn't feel as if I could just let her go without speaking to her but maybe it's wrong?
I've been sat with a message open in a new chat with her number for the past five minutes questioning whether or not I should click the blue send button my thumb has been hovering over.
What if she thinks I'm weird inviting her? What if she doesn't actually want to go but is just pittying me? Or am I just over thinking everything?
"Just send the message mate" I hear come from a familiar voice behind me. I turn and, as expected, see Carlos peering over my shoulder reading the text on my phone.
"Is it wrong to invite her? We only just met, is that weird?" I question the Latino who was now trying to send the message for me.
"No. You could invite anyone. You've done this so many times, there's nothing different." He was entirely correct. I had invited so many people to nights out that I'd met just hours prior but this felt different. From the moment I saw her on that stage I couldn't take my eyes off her. Something about her was so mesmerising. I really wanted to impress her and I really didn't want to make a fool of myself.
"Sent it." Carlos said bluntly.
Somehow, in the short space of time I spent thinking about her, Carlos was able to take my phone and click send without me realising. Swiftly I snatched my phone back off him and sent two further messages attempting to patch up the damage that had already been done.
Within a few minutes she began typing and a wave of worry flushed over me. At this point I'd blocked out Carlos's existence and was solely focussed on the screen of my phone.
*ding*
A message came through, from her, and the fear that surged through me had now disappeared after reading the message from her which seemed reasonably excited, confirming that she, and her friend, wanted to come.
"See, nothing to worry about." The voice behind me said smugly, sending a shock through me after I had began to forget about his existence.
"How do I reply now though?" I questioned
"Let me." He demanded as he snatched my phone from my hand and quickly began typing on my keyboard.
"Wait Car-" I wasn't even able to finish my sentence before he sent the message and passed the phone back to me. I quickly looked at the screen and felt, again, that wave of fear pass over me after seeing Carlos had said that I couldn't wait to see her. In panic I corrected myself, well, Carlos, and said I couldn't wait to see the both of them. As if that sounded better.

Originally, I planned to send them a driver so I could meet them there and hopefully beat any media and press who would try and create stories about two of us being an item, as they always do, and possibly ruining their future careers. Unfortunately, my driver had to cancel leaving me no other choice than to pick them up myself.
I wasn't completely against this idea, inside I was actually very excited to see her first and take it all in.
I quickly jumped in my Ferrari California as it was my only company car with more than 2 seats.

The drive there felt slow and anticipatory. I didn't think I'd ever end up getting there until I pulled up to what my GPS claimed was her address.
I cautiously stepped out of the car and began to walk toward the door as I saw it push open and a beautiful women was stood right there. I couldn't take my eyes off her face as I stared into her deep brown eyes with eyelashes that so perfectly lined them and her thick lips that curved up into a smile as she locked with my eyes. I took my eyes away for just a second to admire her dress which sparkled as it caught the light from my car. It so perfectly hugged her figure showing her off perfectly. I took my eyes back up to hers and saw her cheeks blush.
Was she interested in me? Was she as nervous as I was?
