Chapter 5

I sighed after a few hours of watching some drama show that Stolas recommended, Justin finally came home

"Candle, we need to talk" great I'm getting lectured about leaving the house 

"What? Are you mad because I left the house?" 

"Kinda but I think you should find a way to contribute more to the apartment" 

"What do you mean? I clean up around here every day!" 

"I know and you do great but it's hard getting money for food and to pay rent" 

"Ok who is going to hire a freak" 

"Your not a freak, your beautiful" he said it and brushed hair out of my face 

"We'll find a place, and we need to talk about... yesterday" 

"Of course!" 

"Don't yell at me! What happened to the kind girl that needed help?" 

"I haven't been sleeping to well, I shouldn't have yelled at you" 

"Can you be honest, I know that somethings scaring you" 

"Fine, my dads been torturing me while I sleep, so lately I've been sneaking out and stealing energy from people" 

"Oh my goodness, you should've told me, I would've helped you" 

"But sleeping near you makes them a little more tolerable" 

"I'll buy a bed and you can move into my room" 

"Not in your room I need to sleep with you, in the same bed, together" 

"Oh, okay then if it will help you, and last night you said you cared about me more then a friend,  was that true?" 

"I'm not sure, I'm not sure what love is" 

"I can show you what love is" 

"wha-" he interrupts me with a deep kiss, he holds his face to mine, his arm wraps around my waist, he breaks the kiss

"Not bad for your first time" he says

"I'm gong to have a shower, and then I'm going to bed"  

"Do you want food?" 

"Nah I'm good" 

"Alright" I decide that I'm not hungry and I get changed for bed, I crawl under the sheets.

Around 10 minutes later Justin walks out of the bathroom with only a towel wrapped around his waist, his sculpted abs and steamy fur, Im practically drooling, he got a pair of fluffy pants on and laid down beside me, he dropped a arm around my body and fell asleep

For the first time in 2 months I've slept peacefully, I woke up before Justin so I wrote a quick note and set off to find a job 

So it's been 2 hours and no one wants to except a freak so I find my self in greed ring, at a giant mansion, owned by a man named Crimson, I knocked on the door, two sharks opened it and led me to a large table where a imp sits at the end of the table, I decided to wear a hoodie 

"So you said your name was Martha?" 

"Yes sir" 

"Interesting, so tell me about a few of your skills" 

"See the plant over there?" 

"Yes?" I created a portal underneath it, he attempted not to look impressed

"Anything else?" 

"The guard on the left side of you is thinking about how hot his best friends girlfriend is" 

"And I need one more ability,  and maybe I'll think about hiring you" I looked up at the guard on the right side of crimson, his fear radiating and turning into my power

"Jake, you must feel extremely angry at Jason for cheating with your girlfriend" Jake almost immediately started to strangle Jason 

"Crimson, sir are you impressed?" 

"I am, and that's why your going to be my personal assassin" 

"Thank you sir" 

"Your first job is to kill someone for me"

So that's why I'm at the I.M.P head quarters, I walk inside slowly, Blitzo is arguing with Moxxie and Millie's fighting both of them, while Layla and Loona cuddle and watch videos on Loonas phone

"Hello" they all stop fighting and attempt to look professional, Blitzo stares at me disapprovingly 

"What?" 

"I need to kill... Moxxie"

Millie hisses at me and Layla looks upset 

"Crimson sent me,  he said he'd pay great, and I need the money, Justin needs the money"

"WELL YOU CAN KILL MY BEST EMPLOYEE" Blitzo yelled at me

"I'm kidding, I would never kill moxxie, Crimson wants you dead but doesn't want me to kill you, so I'll see y'all"

Blitzo begins yelling slurs at me 

"Good bye you knock off charmander!" I walk on to the streets and kill my targets, I drop the heads of at greed and received my money. 

I walk home to see that Justin's still in bed, I shake him awake gently

"What?" He asked me 

"Well you have to go to work" 

"I don't feel to good"  

"Alright, I have good news!" 

"What?" 

"I got a job!" 

"See I told you!" I turned the stove on

"I'll make you some soup" 

"Thank you" 

"I think I need to visit my father"

 Justin jumps out of bed 

"NO!" 

"I'll be fine! I know my dad won't harm me" 

"He left you to die and then sent people to kill you!" 

"He just wants me to come home!" 

"Candle, are you under curse? This isn't you! You hate your dad!" 

"No! My dad loves me, and I love him." 

"Fine, but I'm coming with you" 

"You're sick! You can't go anywhere like this! Much less to see my dad!" 

"Well you have to go with someone, or you're not going!"  

"Fine I'll go with Octavia, deal?" 

"Fine be home by 10 or else I'm coming to pick you up" 

"Alright" 

I pick up my phone to call Octavia, she picks up the phone

"Martha it's Like 3 am" 

"Do you want to go to the sloth ring? I heard that the stars over there are gorgeous" 

"Alright I'm in" 

"Good Im just outside your window" I wave as octavia writes a note for her dad, I make a portal to the house and Octavia follows behind me, I knock on the doors and sure enough my dads waiting

"Martha! You scared me! I thought you died!" 

"Yeah whatever, can you fix a holy bullet wound?" 

"Maybe, let me see it" I slowly pull the glove off my arm, Octavia gasps

"I'm sorry if you found me sooner then possibly but it's too late for that" 

"Alright well I've got to go" The door slams shut, 

"I'm sorry Martha but I can't let you go" I try to portal out but it wasn't working, my eyes go a deep blue

"You'll be sorry" I light the door on fire and it burned quickly I made a portal for via and I we ran inside, I thanked via for the help and I went back home
