I wake up on a soft fluffy bed the smell of waffles fills my nostrils, I jump out of bed only wearing a large house coat, Noir must've given it to me last night... what happened last night? The last thought pops out of my head as quickly as it came in. Christatus is sitting at the table enjoying waffles with a side of fruit
"Morning" I say, Noir looks at me and smiles
"Morning Martha, you had a visitor so I told him that you were asleep"
"Oh thanks, where is he?" I ask Noir curious about this visiter
"Im right here" I recognize his voice. I whip around immediately, I slowly growl, I stare him in eyes and he looks away, his ears pin against his head
"How about you guys talk in Martha's room?" Noir suggests, I stomp up the stairs and Justin follows distantly, I close the door and hope they can't hear us
"What the hell are you doing here!?" I yell as soon I know they can't here us
"Im here to apologize"
"Bullshit"
"Look, I'm sorry about what happened. I was drunk, I couldn't help myself"
"But you could. You choose to make out with her!"
"Keep it down. I don't want the bird to hear us"
"Why? Why are you bringing Noir into this?"
"It has a name? Great, now your going to sleep with him"
"He would be better in bed than you!"
"Wow. Words hurt"
"You know what hurts even more?"
"What?"
"Your BOYFRIEND CHEATING"
"Look I'm not here to argue with you"
"Then why are you here?"
"To fix things, I need you Martha, like a drug"
"Well I think it's time you fix your addiction"
"But I don't want to"
"Well then go back to rehab. I don't want you near Christatus, or Noir. I don't want YOU"
"I guess that's how it is now. You don't love me anymore. Tell me you hate me and I'll be gone"
"You know I can't do that"
"Exactly... you need me. And I need you"
"Why?"
"What do you mean why? You and I are perfect" I sigh and shake my head
"Are you happy?"
"Not yet" he grabs my waist close
"Not here"
"Why not?" I sigh, I grab my house coat and wrap it around my body
"This is why we don't work"
"What? We were perfect together! I saved you remember! I loved and cared about you! I gave a you a home"
"And I'm thankful"
"I'm leaving, call me when you want me back"
"So never?" I wait until I see him leave in his car
"Martha? Are you ok? That young man looked angry"
"I'm fine Noir"
I choose something from my suitcase and walk downstairs
"What happened?" Noir asks concerned
"Just a boy being an a**"
"Oh ok, I was hoping you would accompany me to a ball I was invited to"
"I accept, when is it?"
"In a hour or so?"
"Oh I don't have a dress or anything nice" he smiles and points to the living room, I see a beautiful white, black, and gold dress. And beside that was a matching tuxedo
"Oh my Lucifer. It's gorgeous"
"Thank you. It costed quite a bit. I'm hoping it will go with your grey fur" I stop staring at the dress for minute and spin around
"Grey fur? What grey fur? I'm literally blue and PINK WHAT DO YOU MEAN GREY"
"Oh I'm sorry"
"Noir? Are you colour blind?"
"Me?!? Colour blind?!?"
"You are!"
"Don't tell anyone" he looks away embarrassed
"Hey, it's cool, for a colour blind bird you make pretty good colour palettes"
"Really?"
"Yep"
"Thank you. So the ball is in like 3 hours, so get ready"
"Alright so where is this party?"
"Stella is throwing it. It's for the divorce of Stella and Stolas"
"Cool. What about... Christatus?"
"She will be coming"
"Great"
