It was always with me
From the very start
It knows all my feelings
And what's inside my heart
It was always close to me
Every time I fell apart
It's dark and quite there
And the place is bizarre
It always feels like home
Even though it's too far
It's my 3 a.m. partner
That knows all the reasons for my scars
I found peace in it's beauty
When my mind was at war
It had been the companion
That alway followed my car
Moon had always been my best friend
When I searched for stars
