The nights were cold
But she felt colder as she cried
She felt numb,
had panic attacks at night
Her heartbeat sky rocketed
Whenever she was mentioned
The girl who once had mental peace
Now only has stress and tension
She had scars on her hand
That she drew every night
And a diary that she kept secret away
from people's sight
She hardly got offended
Tried to be chill and cool type
She hid her tears around everyone
Cuz she had no one to wipe
She just wanted assurance,
Someone who would support her
When she would be falling,
Someone who could hold her
