"Yeah! And then he-"
Ace did not care what Tommy was yapping about.
Instead, they were eating a muffin (that they probably stole).
Molly and Tubbo also didn't care what Tommy wad saying, which explains why they were holding back sighs.
That's when the bell rang.
The bell always rings when someone enters the coffee shop.
Tommy jerked his head to the entrance.
The same dirty blonde.
Ranboo.
Although..
He looked..
Different..?
They had their head down, their hair was all over the place, they were in some baggy black hoodie, grey sweatpants, and their headphones were still on their head.
Once they looked up, Tommy saw their eyes were bloodshot.
Ranboo walked towards Tommy.
"Ran.. Are you ok..?" Tommy asked.
Tubbo, Molly, and Ace ran to the back, listening to the conversation behind the wall.
"Uhm.. Yeah.. It's just that-" Ranboo's voice trailed off.
"It's just that what, bud?? Spit it out!" Tubbo whispered.
"What happened?" Tommy frowned, "You know you could always talk to me.."
"My dog.. He's dying.. My brothers said he probably has a couple of weeks left.." Ranboo said under their breath.
Tommy frowned as he saw teras fall from the others' eyes.
"Hey! Hey! It's ok!" Tommy said as he wiped away the other's tears.
"I-Im sorry.." Ranboo hiccups as Tommy walks over to them, letting rest their head on his shoulder.
"It's just that- I had that dog since I was like 9.. I-I don't want him to leave yet.." Ranboo choked.
"Damn bitch- I'm glad I didn't call in sick for work today-" Ace was interrupted.
"Shh!!" Molly and Tubbo shushed the other.
Tommy looked around the café.
Nobody but him, Ranboo, and his co-workers.
Maybe..
No!
That's against policy rules!
But then again, his dad owns the café..
Whatever.
"Hold on.." Tommy said before walking over to the 'open' sign and flipping it to close.
"If you want, we can go to the back..?" Tommy offered.
Molly, Tubbo, and Ace stared at each other before quickly running into the supply room.
"Please.." Ranboo sobbed.
Tommy took the other to the back, Ranboo sobbing into his shoulder.
"Hey.. it's ok.." Tommy said, trying to calm the other down.
