She took her place at the table.
She bit the inside of her cheek for a few minutes.
Not now.
She wanted to scream herself out of voice, all night long.
She turned to the staff table to seek Dumbledore's gaze.
She managed to come across it.
She, with shining eyes and a pained expression.
That was not the right moment.
He, equally worried, gave her a refreshing smile.
She exhaled deeply.
She began to eat for a good fifteen minutes in silence.
then took the carafe of water and began to fill the glass quietly.
- Excuse me, as soon as you are done, could you pass it to me? -
Kaytlyn turned:
the voice came from a young girl.
She knew that face, those features,
that kindness, that smile.

I laughed bitterly.
