"When my body is ashes,

my name will be legend."

Joe Morrison.

" All those bitter tears, I have never seen any so lost and stinging.

Fold.

Capable of tearing through even the sharpest and most inflexible blade.

They flow, like a cursed river in flood, now unable to maintain control.

They leave unbridgeable furrows,

corroding more and more over time.

That feeling creeps between us,

we feel it subtly infiltrating our thoughts, and our fleshes

until they join and poison the soul.

It was the night wrapped in the most placid calm that had ever touched the waters of her mind.

The chain had been broken.

The released animal.

Slowly

, with a resolute step,

the black panther advanced towards the end of the cave.

Just a burning ray of sunshine.

An illuminated iris.

And an uncontrolled roar.

It stood on the edge of the precipice,

letting the other animals understand that it was back.

Triumphant. Proud.

Tearing those photos certainly would not have erased the past, but the signal had been given:

what hurts perishes.

She closed her eyes: a cold shiver woke up

her arms.

Her mouth parted, in complete harmony.

She smiled.

A great desire to cry.

Cry for joy.

Everything seemed to slow down its course.

Every tense muscle gave way to the most longed-for peace.

A gust of wind pierced her candid linen dress, sticking to her body, and showing the scars.

She closed her lids.

A pain, a healthy pain.

A heart untied from the bridle.

The sunrise.

The waters of the Black Lake slowly thinned out, revealing a few sparks of rosy light.

Just a feeling.
