Hey Bradford here, I'm twenty seven and I have a degree in music. I know it's not thrilling but music has always been a huge part of my life and I loved learning how music is made, how songwriting is done, how a record is produced, and so much more. I went to college in TN and moved back home just recently and the first weekend I'm home, a horrible accident happened and I learned they had passed away.

"Son it's ok, it's not your fault." My dad said when I went home after leaving the scene all dirty and worn out. He noticed right away something happened and so I told him.

"It was so bad dad." I broke down crying and he wrapped his huge arms around me and let me cry in his chest. I may not know the people who died but it still hurts knowing someone out there is hurting from the loss.

"Why don't you go shower and I'll heat up your dinner. Your papa made chicken fried steak tonight. He went to bed when it got close to midnight since he has to work early in the morning. Don't worry, I'll let him know you're home though." Dad said and so I got up from the chair and went to my room to shower.

I got clean clothes and turned the shower on and let the water heat up before I stripped and got into the shower. I let the water fall onto me and I watched as the dirty water went down the drain until it was clear so I could wash my hair and body before getting out. I dried off and put my boxers on and my shorts before going back downstairs to the kitchen to see dad sitting there waiting on me. He had my food and a glass of milk waiting on me.

"Thanks dad." I said and slowly ate my food while thinking of what happened earlier. I need to find out who it was and reach out to the family to see how they are doing.

Now you may wonder who dad and papa are? They aren't my birth parents nor did they raise me my whole life. They are actually my best friends' parents and Chad is an awesome person. He and I have been best friends for the past few years and so when I went off to college, they told me I could come home to their house and that they would have a room for me so I took them up on the offer and came here to visit during breaks and when I graduated college. I'm like a second son to them so they said I can call them dad and papa. Chad lives at home also because his patients are wonderful. They said we didn't have to live on our own and just help with food or around the house so it's nice but since I'm back for good, I plan on moving out.

"Chad up?" I asked when I was finished and he chuckled.

"No, he's staying at Dean's tonight." Dean is Chad's boyfriend of four years and I have never seen anyone so in love like Chad is with Dean.

"Figures. I'll see him soon I'm sure. Thank papa for dinner, it was delicious. I'm going to go to my room and relax before going to bed." I said and put my dishes in the dishwasher.

"Alright kiddo, good night and I will thank him for you. Try to get some sleep ok?" He put his hand on my shoulder and gave me a stern look.

"I'll try, I'm exhausted so I'm sure I will get some sleep." He hugged me and he went up to his room and I shut the light off after getting a glass of water to take up to my room and shut the door.

I sat at my desk and I got onto my laptop to see if I could find any information about the accident to see if I could reach out once I found out who it was.

I put on some music after I loaded my music app on my phone and searched for the accident and I found it right away. I learned the name of the man who was driving and there were three passengers, all but one died. I looked into the lives of the people and found out that two of them were father and son and that there was another son who was a doctor and lived two hours away. I found out the man had a café in town so I wrote the address down and looked through more history of the men and they all had such amazing lives. I felt tears fall from my eyes as I read about each one and hated they died like they did. They didn't deserve it, they were so good and seemed like a lot of people loved them.
