Is it something innate? Something that you're born with?
Is it perhaps something that you can change and cultivate like a tree?
Or maybe, it's neither.
Maybe, talent is like a seed of hope deep inside you, waiting to be watered by a watering can.
One such "watering can" is Camp Firebird, a recently opened talent-honing program that only accepts the best of the best. For one month of summer, 15 super-talented people between the ages of 16 and 17 will spend time in a natural environment full of opportunities to grow as a person.
And I'm one of them!!
Oh- I almost forgot; let me introduce myself. My name is Gake Kibotoko. I'm 16, and I've earned the title of "Ultimate Climber". Trees, rocks, mountains; anything you can name, I can climb. I'm still kind of in shock that all my hard work paid off, actually.

But, uh, I'm nowhere near the best. It's not like I'm completely plain, but I mean, I've been doing my research, and one of the people coming is Tsuki Adatomi, the Ultimate Movie Star.
TSUKI ADATOMI, THE ULTIMATE MOVIE STAR. The same Tsuki Adatomi who, despite being barely 16, has already starred in over 50 different movies. The same Tsuki Adatomi who played 20 different roles in one movie, WITH NO CUTS OR SCENE BREAKS.
Just let that sink in.
Not only that, but Alexandra Dracul, the uber-skilled Ultimate Wax Sculptor, and Yagi Tenga, the Ultimate Street Performer, will be there too!
I'll be spending the summer with actual famous people! Imagine that!
Compared to that, I'm literally nothing. I mean, I guess I must have done something right for them to give me an Ultimate Title, but other than that I've not got much going for me. The only mildly unusual thing about me is how awful I am at poetry. You saw the opening lines! Watering can? Seriously!?
Anyway, I'm actually on the bus right now. It's pretty luxurious, if I do say so myself. There's nobody here yet and we weren't allowed to bring phones or laptops or anything, so I guess I'll take a nap.
