CHAPTER 4

At first, I hesitated to lift that unknown number and cut the call, but again, my phone started ringing. Finally, I lifted the call and waited for the person to speak.

James's POV:

 I called her to apologize for my brother's behavior, but she didn't lift my call. I called her again after 4 rings, and she finally picked up, but she didn't speak, so I tried to break the silence.

"Hello, Miss Cindy. Did I disturb you?" I said with hesitation.

CINDY'S POV: 

I was waiting for the person to talk. At first, I thought it was some prank call, but after hearing the person's voice, I got confused about why James called me this time.

"Hello sir... no sir, you didn't disturb me, I said with a smile. 

"It's okay, Cindy, no formals are needed; you can call me James.. I genuinely say.

"Oh ok sir ah... I mean James," I chuckled.

I want to say sorry for my brother's behavior, please don't take it to heart," I said feeling guilty.

CINDY'S POV:

I can understand that he is feeling guilty. Poor him; he didn't do anything but still says sorry.

No, no, sir, I didn't take his words seriously". I said it in a low voice.

JAMES POV :

I was really feeling guilty about my brother's behavior. I know she feels really hurt. I can understand her voice. I took a deep breath and said

"Okay, Cindy, how are you doing? By the way, from today onwards, we are both friends," I said with a smile.

CINDY'S POV: 

When he said that we were friends, I felt really happy.

Okay, James, let's be friends," I said smiling widely.

TIME SKIP AFTER SOME:

After having a good talk with him, I go to my room and start looking for related topics about that project, but I do not understand any of them. So I called my friend and talked to her.

Hey girl, what are you doing?" I said while giggling.

SAAMI' S POV: 

Here I was cooking for myself. While I was busy cooking, I got a call from my friend, so I picked it up.

"Hello dude, nothing much, just cooking; what about you?" I said while concentrating on my cooking.

Haaa, nothing, girl. I was checking some relevant topics about the project, but guess what? I didn't find anything," I said while sighing heavily.

I was giggling hearing her say," Awww, my cutie pie, you don't need to stress yourself. Get to bed early and start with a fresh mind." I said smiling.

Ha, okay, my cupcake, good night, sweet dreams," I said smiling softly.

In the morning, I woke up, went to the bathroom to do my morning routine, and left for the office without having breakfast. When I went inside the office, I was greeted by my colleagues and went to my seat and started working.

TIME SKIP FOR AFTERNOON:

HANA'S POV :

Here I went into the cafeteria to have lunch. After taking my lunch, I didn't find a place to sit because almost every place was occupied, but I saw a girl sitting alone, so I went near her.

"Hello, can I sit here?" I said while smiling.

CINDY'S POV :

I went to the cafeteria to have lunch. I went and got my food, sat at a single table, and started eating. After some time, one girl came in my direction and asked me to sit next to her.
