CHAPTER 8

 JAMES POV:

 When I went inside I saw all the employees were tense so went near and saw Cindy standing in front of a brother with a scared face so hurriedly went to my brother. 

All of you went back to your work, Henry. What happened? Why are you looking angry?

"Oh, brother, you came! Haha, why don't you ask her why I'm angry? Ask her what she did?" I said mockingly.

"Cindy, what happened? Why are you looking scared? Is there any problem?" I asked her in a soft tone.

CINDY'S POV: 

When James came and told all the employees to go back to work, he asked him what happened, but he didn't say anything. He told James to ask me, but I lost my words because of my death glare.

"s sir ...a actually..." I don't have the courage to speak.

"Haha, wow, why don't you open your mouth and say something, Miss Cindy?" I said while glaring at her.

" s sir.. that..." sweat started to form on my forehead.

"I SAID OPEN YOUR DAMN MOUTH!" I yell at her for being done by her shutting.

"I'm so sorry, sir. i i i will c c complete all the f f files," I said while shivering badly.

"Henry, stop shouting at her. Why are you behaving like that to her?" I said while gritting my teeth.

Wow, brother, didn't you hear that she didn't complete the work that I gave her?

But Henry, you should give her some time so that she can complete that work.

Oh, I gave her enough time to complete those files, but she didn't complete them and went without my permission. How dare she?

Sir, actually, i i went out because of some personal problems. I'm sorry, sir, I'll never repeat this.

First, stop shuttering. If you have any personal work, keep it away from office work. Don't dare to do this again.

"You better keep it, Miss Cindy," I said, and I went inside my cabin.

JAMES  POV:

I went to my brother's cabin, and he was standing in front of the window, saying, "What happened, Henry? Are you still angry"? My brother did not utter a word and stood near the window. I got no response i sigh heavily and said.

"Okay, I'm going back; don't think too much about that matter," I said, and I left from there.

TIME SKIP TO AFTERNOON:

CINDY'S POV:

I finished all the files and went to the CEO's cabin. I knocked on the door and heard a response from inside. I took a deep breath, went inside, placed the files in front of the CEO's desk, and waited for him to check them.

Sir, the files you asked for, I completed all of them, I said while looking down.

HENRY'S POV:

When she entered my cabin and placed the files near my table, she waited for my response, but I didn't say anything to her. I turned around and faced her without checking the files. I asked her in a cold voice.

"Why hadn't you submitted these files yesterday". I said, staring at her soul.

CINDY'S POV:

I waited for his permission to go out, but he didn't check these files and turned towards me and asked in his cold voice why I hadn't submitted them yesterday. I gulped hard seeing his face.
