Colby had never been that friend. He wasn't the smart one or the funny one but he wanted to be.
Sam came along and he tried to be both of those things especially for the videos they wanted to make with each other. Sam gave him that smile every time he'd do something stupid for the camera and it made it worth it. He found himself enjoying making himself look like a fool.
It was like finding 100 dollars on the street. The views and likes were just a bonus to the big prize of seeing Sam excited and happy.
