Colby knows Sam,
He knows how he dips his fries 3 times no matter the size even if he takes crumb bites. That he loves tomato soup but can't stomach tomatoes. How he can't sleep unless some show plays in the background.
How he always freezes up in crowded places, he also hates socializing but loves human interaction. He hates Parties but can sit through them if they have pizza.
Sam's a weird and interesting person and these were only the basics of what Colby knows but he finds the subject of Sam Golbach to be the most fascinating thing.
