A Reunion Long Overdue

Team RWBY POV:

We put up a good fight, some lasting longer than others but it didn't matter anymore. We had lost. Headmaster Ozpin left us all to go and find help, or that is what we were told. These little creatures seem to think he was attempting to abandon us...

Ruby: Yang? Do you think he abandoned us?

Yang who was gagged and bound in chains after several escape attempts looked down at her sister... hanhing upside down from the ceiling fan slowly spinning...

Yang: Mmmph mph mmmph mmmm

She tried to reply but was again, gagged and couldn't actually say anything.

I sigh and look out the window of our dorm, the only place we were allowed to be after Yang tried to escape with Blake and a few others. Weiss was sitting at her desk looking angry and a bit scared, Blake was allowed to sit on her bed with a ball and chain stuck to her foot like a prisoner.

Weiss: Of course he tried to! He told us to fight and then he ran! Personally I think he got what he deserved.

Yang and I look shocked at her, Blake however didn't bring her head out of her book and just seemed to silently agree with her. I wanted to be angry, after all that Headmaster Ozpin had done for me...

Ruby: B-but he was our teacher, he helped us all out when we needed-

Weiss stood up from her desk and marched towards Ruby with anger written on her face. She thrusted her finger at Ruby and yelled...

Weiss: He let YOU in early, a 15 year old who hadn't even finished her training into an elite huntsman academy! He covered for Blake who mind you was a Terrorist! Bribed the owner of a nightclub after Yang threw a temper tantrum, allowed Jaune Arc into this academy with obviously forged transcripts and let's not forget the rampant bullying of students!

We all looked at each other as she began to pace the room, bumping into Yang several times while continuing her rant

Weiss: And rather than calling for an actual evacuation he told us to "Hold the line" As if we could fight thousands of those... what even are they?!

???: Minions, they are called minions and they belong to our master.

A feminine voice called out, a young woman with red hair and a cruel smirk walked through the gap where the door had been... before Yang used it as a shield and broke it yesterday...

Weiss: O-oh well then...

The woman walk closer to Weiss who began to back up... into Yang who was still slowly spinning upside down...

Weiss: W-who are you?

???: I am but a humble, beautiful servant of The Overlord!

Having spread her arms wide the mystery woman hit Yang causing her to spin rapidly

Yang: Mmm MMPH MMMPPH

Weiss grabbed Yang who looked dazed and faintly pale

???: My name is Cherry Blaze!

Blake closed her book and stood up, not able to walk far due to the ball and chain around her ankle...

Blake: Sounds like a stripper, now why are you here?

Cherry: WHY DOES EVERYONE SAY THAT?!?!

She starred daggers at Blake who simply glared back, Ruby hopped off her bed and approached Cherry

Ruby: Um Ms. Cherry ma'am, why ARE you here?

Cherry takes a deep breath and grabs Ruby's hand and rips Yang off the ceiling fan, throwing her over her shoulder
