It's been two days since Karina has so much as looked at Winter, and the hazel-eyed woman can't help but be bothered by it. All she did was ask the woman a question; she honestly doesn't see what the big deal is.

It's Friday now and yesterday Ningning told her to keep the day open for her because they have shit to do after school, whatever that means.

In physics, Karina doesn't even glance in her direction. The woman is really making it easy for Winter to keep her promise to herself. She's not having sex with the other woman again; hell she's not even talking to her.

After school she takes a nap that lasts a bit too long because she wakes up with Ningning standing over her and an unforgiving migraine.

"Woman, you were supposed to be ready when I got here." Her friend exclaims, making her groan into her pillow. Ningning grabs the cup of water on her bedside table and pours it on Winter before running out of the room, shouting. "Be ready in ten minutes. Love you!"

Winter lies still, not believing that that truly just happened. She gets ready slowly, just to spite her best friend. Twenty minutes later, when she walks out of her room in her usual jean and t-shirt combo, Ningning is glaring at her. She smiles sweetly before walking past her and out the door.

Ningning follows and gets in the car to direct them, and soon they arrive at Giselle's house, the party already in full force considering they are an hour late. Fashionably late, of course.

They walk in and are immediately assaulted by the strong stench of weed and teenage activity, the living room the designated dance floor, and the kitchen being booze central.

From behind Winter, Ningning throws a wink over to Giselle, who's directly down the hall with Karina. Giselle smirks and drags Karina over to the kitchen, Ningning doing the same with Winter.

Ningning tugs on Winter's hand. "Can you get me a drink? I just spotted some eyes, and woman they were locked on me."

Winter chuckles and nods before continuing into the kitchen, Ningning staying back and meeting with Giselle who just sent Karina to do the same thing for her. Their plan isn't full-proof. It's a spur of the moment plan that they are moreso praying will end up successful. Tonight, their prayers are answered. Winter fills a red cup with beer and turns around quickly, bumping into another body and spilling the drink all over them.

"What the fuck." The familiar voice exclaims.

Giselle and Ningning raise their eyebrows from the corner of the kitchen. "I can't believe that played out so well." Giselle said as she leans towards Ningning.

"Tell me about it." Ningning agrees.

"Holy shit, I'm so sorry." Winter says quickly, staring down at the raven-haired woman without really knowing what to do about the mess she just made. She reaches forward but Karina steps back.

"Don't touch me."

"Let me help you."

Karina glares at her and turns around to walk away, Winter following hot in her tracks.

Giselle and Ningning hide behind two big football players, and they peek out to see Winter still following Karina up the stairs.

"Stop following me!" Karina exclaims as she stomps up the stairs, barging into Giselle's room and going straight to the drawer where she knows Giselle keeps the shirts she leaves after sleepovers.

"Why have you been ignoring me?" Winter demands as she slams the door shut behind her, her migraine catching up to her and making her blood boil a little more than the situation calls for.
