(setting: human realm before all the chaotic traumatizing events of season three 😿 luz and amity r watching a sitcom. They're going to say 'I love you' for the first time!! personally, I think those words are made to be a bigger deal than I see it as, however romantically I still kinda see it as a big deal. Still, in my family and ethnic background, it's kind of a common phrase to throw around, like relatives who u haven't seen since your infant days will say it 💀 not saying it doesn't matter or its not important, it definitely is and can be in romantic relationships or to certain people and that's 100% real, anyway it's a good creative opportunity tho so lets go! enjoy <3)

A laugh track plays as the light from the television illuminates her face. She looks so pretty. She looks beautiful really, Amity thinks to herself as Luz is laughing along, her smile making her lighting up her face and sending butterflies through Amity. Or maybe that's also the light. Or maybe its just Luz Noceda.

"Amity? Do you agree?"

"Hm?"

"I said Eldora is the best character in One Time of a Day," Luz says.

"Mhm..." Amity says, smiling and nodding.

"Amityyyy" Luz says, shaking her girlfriend. "Stopppp!"

"You're so pretty," Amity whispers to herself.

Luz smiles. "I love you Amity," she says, giving her cotton candy haired girlfriend a peck on the cheek. Amity's eyes widened in shock, her face going its classic bright red. Luz, seemingly unbothered, looks back at the screen.

"Luz."

"Yes, hermosa?"

Amity scoots closer, caressing Luz's hair.

"You said you love me?"

Luz turns around to look at her girlfriend with a warm smile. 

"I guess I did, huh? Well, yeah, I do. Is that okay-"

Amity jumps on Luz, hugging her, as they both fall to the side, giggling. Amity smiles, and Luz turns around to look at her.

"I love you too.. my Luz." Amity grins. The two girls just lay there, grinning at each other like the idiots who are still in love after all this time. Except now, Luz is much redder.

"Your..?" Luz questions.

"Agh, that was weird wasn't it.." Amity narrows her eyes, annoyed with herself. Luz laughs, cupping Amity's face. She leans into it, her lips brushing against Luz's palm.

"No. It's not weird at all!" Luz giggles softly. "My Amity. Huh. I do like the way it sounds. My Amity."

Amity's face might have well been on fire as she sunk her face into her hands.

"What? Did I say something wrong?"

"No.." Amity's muffled voice comes out.

"Pull your hands down then," Luz instructs. "Please?"

Amity removed her hands, Looking at Luz with her golden eyes.

"You are literally so gorgeous, Amity. I'm not kidding. You're beautiful." And before Amity had the chance to give any sort of reaction, she leans in to kiss her. Their lips meet, Luz tilting her head to the side (and therefore somewhat pressing it into the couch) and caressing Amity's face. Luz pulls away.

"I love you." 

Amity just blinks, unable to speak.

"I know. I'm so lucky."

Luz giggles. "It's 'I love you too' sweet potato," She whispers, pulling Amity into her chest. Amity takes in the citrusy scent she's grown to desire with all her heart, taken in the arms of the girl who truly felt like home

"I love you too," she says in a hushed voice.
