(setting: a few weeks after the season 3 finale, Azura Book Club)
"Hello!" Luz and Amity exclaim as their fellow college students enter the break room for the Good Witch Azura book club. Some would say 18-year-olds are too old for queer kid literature, but look what you're reading right now. (I'm sorry I had to)
"So, what is this?" A tall freshman with dark skin and navy hair inquires, adjusting their glasses. "Are we going to unpack the more recent book? Like, think about it on a more logical basis maybe? We could discuss the story arc, or what we admired about the writing?"
"Well, we were more looking to discuss stuff like theories, and what we enjoyed... but that sounds cool too!" Amity says as students remove books from their backpacks and sit in the desk circle.
"So, as you may or may not know... the good witch Azura book seven was released! It took me some time to finish book six, since, you know, I was busy saving the world and such," Luz says, causing her to get elbowed by Amity in the rib.
"Get to the point, Luz," Amity laughs. Luz smiles and turns back to her fellow students. Luz starts a discussion, only to notice that the other students are looking for intellectual conversation. It slowly dawned on Luz that just ranting about the book wasn't enough; they wanted to dissect it on an intellectual level.
"Hey, uh... I'm getting kinda bored, would it be okay if I left?" a student says.
"Yeah, I have something to do too."
One by one, the students began to pour out of the room. Luz sighed in defeat once the classroom was empty, laying her head on Amity's shoulder. Amity gazes upon the empty classroom.
"Do we suck?" Luz asks.
"What?"
"Nothing. I mean, you obviously don't suck. But look how quickly everyone left. This is horrible, I feel like a dumbass," Luz groans.
"I mean, I'm still here. So are you. C'mon," Amity stood up, taking Luz's hand. They both were still holding their books. When they reached the door leading outside, Luz opened it, feeling a gust of warm air through her curls.
Holy shit she's majestic, Amity thinks to herself, her cheeks red, as the sunlight makes Luz's skin and curls glow.

Amity walks to a tree and sits down, patting the area next to her. Luz sits down.
"We can discuss by ourselves," Amity says. "I'm more than willing to hear what you have to say."
Luz's eyes light up, and Amity's heart melts.
"Oh, okay, well..." Luz begins to rant about the book, occasionally opening it to show Amity the illustrations and writing. Amity, to be honest, wasn't fully paying attention. Well, she was, she loved Azura as well. She was just taking it all in; Luz's voice, the kaleidoscope of light filtering through the trees onto Luz; everything.
"Anyway, yeah, that's all." Luz snaps her book shut, exhaling dramatically. She leans over to rest her head on Amity's shoulder.
"I'm so in love with you," Amity whispers.
"That was random," Luz laughs. She turns around to Amity, who's now bright red.
"I'm so in love with you too, and no matter what I know you'll always be here for me," Luz says before giving Amity a kiss on the cheek and snuggling close to her.
"Always," Amity echoes, putting an arm around Luz.
"College is so.. different," Luz says, sighing. "It's not high school. This determines our futures. Everyone is so serious and determined."
"I know, batata. It's strange, but it's nice. Because we're in it together."
"Of course, they had no time to rant about a fantasy novel with us, we have a load of assignments to do!" Luz huffs, nestling her face in the crook of Amity's neck. Amity could feel her breath on her neck, sending a shiver down her spine.
"Well, we don't need to worry about all of that right now, Luz," Amity said, pulling her close.
"I love you Amity."
"Love you more, sweet potato."
