After Osiris was discovered to have been Savathun all along, Vorialis and many other scholars and Guardians volunteered to aid Saint-14 and Mithrax in the search for him across the Sol System. Osiris was, in Vorialis's opinion, one of the most important and intelligent Warlocks the Last City had ever benefited from. Even as a mortal man, he was still an invaluable asset to both the Vanguard and its database, and so desperately needed to be retrieved. Vorialis had traveled to many infamous, obscure and far-flung places for his research, and believed that this would help him in finding Osiris.
Furthermore, Vorialis considered the implications of Osiris and Savathun's minds being connected. From their connection, it was possible that Osiris might have learned how their enemy thought, what they planned, etc. Such information would provide the Vanguard with greater advantages over the Witch Queen. Regardless, Vorialis went out looking for him, and offered all his knowledge and counsel at every opportunity to the Vanguard on how best to end the Witch Queen's threat once and for all.
