Letting the Queen return to her affairs, Verina, still defeated, ordered a few servants to help her with the wagon's contents.

Kara cheerfully guided the group to her two new rooms in the East Wing: a bedroom, with most of the important stuff already in its place, including a big, fluffy canopy; and a completely empty one, that the Princess ingeniously thought could be used as a laboratory. She didn't know much about Verina's specific necessities; however, her intuitions had simplified the process immensely.

The witch asked if in the next few days she could be provided with a closet, shelves and at least two separate tables. Kara promised it, as the other proceeded to close all windows' curtains - to let the least light possible reach that empty room - and started carefully summoning and depositing on the ground a great number of cruets and jars, filled with various, unidentifiable liquids.

Once finished, she exhaled relieved, and left everything there; then, she let the servants deposit her books and other materials far from the glasses. They locked the door, to leave it as it was, until the furniture was ready.

Most of the things she brought were job-related; as it was imperative to move the important ones first, she had left in Tardeburgo everything else, except for a nightgown and a change for the next day. She would try to bring what was still missing the next day, after a night's sleep; two trips in one day were definitely too much to endure.

Finally alone with the Princess, the two lazily strolled through the corridors of the castle.

«Verina, why don't you 'teleport' and avoid using the carriage altogether?»

The witch had a laugh; «Oh, Kara, if I could have, I would have... do you even know how teleportation works, dear?»

The girl shook her head lightly. «There's two distinct types of magic that are called 'teleportation'. The first one, the one used for travel, requires the creation of Portals, which are both difficult and expensive to erect; I don't have the resources to make one, and for the purpose we want to achieve, it's a waste of rare materials. Portal travel is mostly used for emergency, or to reach Shendu without all the problems the 'normal' route entails.»

Kara listened attentively, looking at the witch with sparkles in her eyes. Verina closed her eyes and smiled; "Adorable... now, let's impress her!"

The witch left her side, positioning herself in the middle of the corridor «The second one is what we call 'Fuga'.»

Just as she finished her sentence, the Sorceress vanished in a blur. Kara, shocked, immediately tried to search for her beloved, looking at both sides of the corridor; she almost had a heart attack and emitted a high-pitched scream when the witch's hand gently touched her shoulder.

Verina stood on her toes and put her chin on Kara's head, putting her arms around the other's shoulders «La Fuga allows the magician to reappear anywhere their sight can reach. The longer the distance, the more energy is used. It is very useful in combat, but worthless during travels...»

The princess felt the weight on her shoulders disappear, and the voice of the witch call her from the end of the corridor «One day, you'll be able to do the same, if you want!»

The girl, still a bit confused, lifted the hem of her dress a bit and ran towards Verina; the sound of her hurried steps filled the lonely, bright corridor, resonating with the witch's heart; that woman, on the other hand, was still a bit flustered from the display of affection she had the courage to perform.

Following the path of corridors, after having shown Verina the important rooms of that Wing, the girl finally pushed the door of another big chamber, with a malicious smile «And this... is my room, my beloved.»

Verina wouldn't have thought much of that presentation, if it wasn't for that unexpected expression; the way her eyes, her voice, and her lips introduced the bedroom felt strangely alluring; while she was still trying to figure out her emotions, the princess had already entered.

The woman shyly moved a few steps forward; the room was clean and tidy, with many little furnishings and interesting gifts that gave personality to an otherwise carbon-copy of the room she was given just that day. On the right side, next to the wall, was Kara's own canopy, with wide, transparent curtains, and a young girl sitting at its edge, tempting.

«I think it's time for my 'treatment', Verina...» she whispered, softening her expression in the attempt to bewitch the witch.

Verina fell easily for her spell; she closed the door, and walked across the room slowly, making yet a new glass jar appear. «At your service, my Princess.»

She leaned towards the girl on the bed; Kara laid down on her back, and fetched Verina's face with her hands, guiding her towards her lips. Another soft kiss connected them; while the demonic flow moved, the witch tried carefully not to weigh down on the other, standing on her fours on the bed, on top of her.

She stopped, and after making already-known moves, she disposed of the waste.

Kara looked at her from below; her irregular breathing, her twitching lips... those half-closed blue eyes, the flowy, messy hair all over the bed... her soft moan of desire...

Verina bit her lower lip, in the presence of such an angelic view. She felt the need to have that image painted and put somewhere on the walls of her new bedroom...

«Princess...» she whispered «I... I can't stop...»

Kara smiled softly, slightly tired from the treatment.

«Don't.»
