He was fine though, just a few more minutes, he can do it, at least that's what he told himself.
The hybrid watched Jackson sedate Holden as the baby Alpha fell into the older's arm, Namjoon just had to make sure that everything goes right, that no one gets hurt except for him.
They send Mark back to his place and Jackson called the older male's nurse to keep check on the newly healed male,
They laid the Alpha in front of Namjoon as it would be easier to sever the bond if the mates were near each other, making it less painful.
Namjoon was feeling overwhelmed as he tried to keep his tears at bay, his lips trembling as he took deep breaths to calm his nerves down but to no avail.
He knew his body was too weak to take the impact of a severe bond but it was a risk he was willing to take, Namjoon smiled, with tears running through his eyes knowing he'll never see Yoongi again, but it was fine.
The bond was hurting him, it was killing him, the unhealed bite mark drawing so much blood and not even bandages were helping him to stop the bleeding.
He knows he'll die, even if he kept the bond or severed it, so he chose to serve it, a quick and easy way out of it.
Namjoon looked at the door with his red puffy eyes as the door clicked shut.
The hybrid clawed his mark, digging deeper into the skin as the hybrid tightly closed his eyes, with few sturdy breaths and in a jerk of hand it was gone.
The impact of a bond breakage was so strong that the whole room shook up.
A wave of pain shot through his body causing him to scream as his body went limp causing him to fall on the cold hard ground.
He watched Holden's unconscious body twitching now and then before going completely limp.
He did it, he finally did it, the bond was gone, the puppy hybrid smiled with his face pressed against the floor so weak that he couldn't even pick himself up.
He was feeling free, yes he was in pain but the feeling of crawling out of his own skin was gone, it was peaceful, he liked being peaceful.
He felt his body turning cold as he closed his eyes, embracing the uncalled winter.
Suddenly the door busted open causing Namjoon to flinch, as the hybrid slowly opened his eyes.
His vision was hazy, he could only make out the outlines of the approaching figure as he looked at them in confusion, didn't he tell Jackson to stay out for a little while, the radiation coming out of his and Holden's body was dangerous for humans.
"Jackson hyung didn't I-I tell y-you to stay away from t-the house? I-it's dangerous g-get out." Namjoon managed to say with great difficulty but was shocked when the figure made no move of backing away,
He was suddenly engulfed in a warm embrace causing his body to tremble as the sudden warmth came in contact with his cold body.
He heard sobs, curses, sniffles adding into his confusion, his vision cleared a bit later as he looked at the person holding him and his body froze.
It was his hyung, the person he loves the most in this whole world holding him like his life depends on it.
Namjoon tried to break out of the hug to look at the Feline's face but the hold of the older male only tightened like Namjoon will disappear if he let go.
"H-hyung l-let go, I-i want to see you." Namjoon said and Yoongi shook his head, tightening his grip on the younger one.
In any other scenario Namjoon would have giggled snuggling close to his hyung but right now he wants to see Yoongi's face, a last glance before he took his last breath.
It took some time but Yoongi slowly broke the hug looking at Namjoon's face, his hyung was looking like a mess, much more like his own, and he decided he didn't like it.
"Oh god baby! what did you do?" Yoongi said, taking the younger's hand in his own examination of the black stained skin.
His tips of the fingers were jet black going towards the end of the fingers with black lines decorating his golden honey skin looking so beautiful against Yoongi's pale one's.
"M'fine," Namjoon breathed out, it was getting harder to speak, his consciousness was slowly leaving him as he watch his hyung panic,
"God! Why are you so dumb? Why the fuck you did that? Huh? Who do you think you are huh? Going around saving people, putting your life in danger, you really want to be a god, don't you?" Yoongi yelled, Namjoon can tell the older was frustrated.
When Hoseok got the call they didn't wasted a single second, when they arrived at the given address and he saw Jackson, his anger was on peak when he saw the male but decided to stay calm for his pup's sake, Jackson explained everything to the feline, Yoongi didn't wasted a single second as he ran towards the human's house.
Only to witness Namjoon lying limp on the ground.
"Calm down h-hyung, i-it's f-fine," Namjoon smiled before laying his head against the older male's chest, "you worry too much you know."
"You are not gonna do this to me, right? you have no right, you have no right to leave me, you are not leaving me, you got that?!" Yoongi screamed, it was like he was begging Namjoon to stay.
The younger pushed his body up, pressing a weak kiss on the older's lips before laying back down.
Namjoon wanted to stay, he really did, but he knew it was just wishful thinking, he smiled against the older male's chest, wrapping his arms around him as he closed his eyes feeling contained.
Yoongi felt younger's breath faltering and he detached himself from the up shaking him up, "yaah! Namjoon don't die on me, don't you dare- don't you dare to close your eyes!... please."
His face was painted with pure horror and it looked funny to the little puppy hybrid who just smiled laying back into his hyung's arms snuggling close making himself comfortable and an 'I love you' slipped out of younger's lips and before Yoongi could do or say something younger's breath faltered, body going limp and Yoongi froze.
His body shook violently, eyes staring down at the younger's cold body, he could feel his own body going cold as the numbness took over him.
He knew his inner hybrid wanted to go with their mate and he didn't fight it, he let his inner self chase the younger's soul.
His breath caught up in his throat, suddenly it was getting harder to breath, it was like his lungs refused to take in any more oxygen which wasn't mixed with his soulmates.
Like his heart refused to pump anymore blood when his soulmate's heart wasn't beating anymore and surely Yoongi refused to live in a world where his soulmate isn't living.
So he gave up, gave in, laying on the ground with Namjoon in his arms as he tightened his grip. He took his last breath looking at his soulmate's beautiful face, before closing his eyes and letting everything go.
Letting the darkness take over.
