"Namjoon.... Holden is not your mate."

Namjoon froze looking at the older, waiting for him to tell him that this is some kind of joke, Namjoon wouldn't mind but the other stood still, his face twisted in a serious expression tells Namjoon otherwise.

"H-hyung what are you talking about? Please don't joke around," Namjoon pleaded,

Jackson's face softened, Namjoon looked so weak and broken, like he's only been holding by a thread, he couldn't believe he once thought of letting this beautiful creature die,

The older shook his head coming towards the hybrid, "Namjoon I'm so sorry, I tried to tell him, to make him understand that you are not his mate, and I thought he understood, that he is ready to let you go."

"No no no, what are you talking about? You are lying, right? Hyung please..."

Jackson tried to choose his words carefully not wanting to break the younger even more.

"But I guess he didn't and he claimed you," He huffed looking at the crying hybrid who fell on the ground,

"Is this why my bite mark isn't healing? Is this why my wrist tattoo disappeared?" Namjoon looked up at the older with teary eyes questioning and Jackson's eyes again widened.

"What tattoo Joon?" Jackson hurriedly asked,

He have read everything about the hybrids, he knew one thing or two about them and he knew some hybrids have soulmates and Namjoon said his tattoo disappeared and that can mean many things but he needs to confirm,

"A butterfly tattoo, me and Yoongi hyung had same but he never noticed it," Namjoon replied confusion written on his face as he looked at Jackson's face.

It was funny, like someone have made him watch a horror movie in middle of the night, it almost made Namjoon forget that he's been mated with someone who isn't his mate.

And to Jackson's horror his anticipation was true, it was a soulmate mark and Holden's bite mark broken the bond.

Not only Namjoon been claimed by someone who wasn't suppose to be his mate but also lost a soulmate bond and according to the books Jackson have read, hybrids with broken bonds and lost soulmates doesn't live long.

That's also the reason his mark isn't healing, his hybrid isn't done mourning at the loss of his mate and doesn't want to accept anyone's mating bond and probably never will.

"Namjoon that was your soulmate mark, you lost your soulmate," God It was painful to even say those words and Namjoon gasped.

"Y-you mean Yoongi hyung is my-" Namjoon cutted himself off with a sob when Jackson nodded his head.

Namjoon looked Jackson with a pained expression as his lips spoke the cursed words, "am I going die hyung?"

Jackson didn't knew what to do, how could something like this can happen to someone as kind and sweet as Namjoon, the hybrid doesn't deserve it.

Jackson watched as Namjoon pained expression morphed into something else, something strong and determined.

"Jackson hyung call Mark hyung, we'll start the healing process from tomorrow." Namjoon said and Jackson looked at him in shock.

"Joonie no, you can't,it's dangerous, you are not in proper state to heal some small let alone blood cancer, Joon are not ready, your body can't even heal itself." The older tried reasoning but the hybrid cut his off.

"I can hyung, I want to, I don't want you to loose someone special to you, i know how seperation feels Jackson hyung, i don't want you to go through something so painful when I can stop it." Jackson couldn't believe it.

How could the little hybrid could be so kind and giving when all Jackson did was hurting him, taking him away from his soulmate, caged him into a house, managed to get him mated to someone he wasn't suppose to.

And he still wants to help him? The world doesn't have another someone like Namjoon and probably never will.

"Joon but-"

"I lost my soulmate hyung, I won't let you loose your," He said determination clearly visible in his eyes.

"Namjoon no, what would I tell Yoongi if something happened to you," Namjoon's eyes teared up at the mention of his hyung as he took a deep breath taking Jackson's hands in his.

"You know Jackson hyung, I love Yoongi hyung in more than one way, he is so caring, kind, sweet and selfless."

Jackson wanted to comment on that sweet and kind nature of the feline hybrid is only reserved for Namjoon but stopped himself as it wasn't the right time.

"He loves me hyung, selflessly, hyung always cared for me, not asking anything in return, he didn't love me for anything, he just love me," Namjoon stopped looking on his lap with teary eyes when a tear slipped out of his eyes into his hands.

"And last thing I want is to him finding me claimed by someone else."
