It was finally the finals.

They had just performed Not Alone as Boys Planet trainees for their last time, and now it was time for the final top 9 members of Zerobaseone.

Yujin couldn't help but wave at the star creators who had joined them tonight, and he spoke briefly with Seungeon, who stood next to him on the platform, to relieve some of the anxiety and giddiness Yujin was experiencing right now.

As Hwang Minhyun began announcing the member in the 8th place, the atmosphere in the venue grew tense. The camera zoomed in on each contestant, capturing their nervous expressions and hopeful eyes.

"Securing the 8th spot in ZEROBASEONE is..." Minhyun paused for dramatic effect, his voice echoing through the hall, "Kim Jiwoong!"

Yujin's face lit up for Jiwoong a mix of shock and joy. Yujin continued to applaud for his hyung and couldn't help but smile even further knowing that Jiwoong has finally secured a spot in the debut lineup.

The spotlight shifted back to the remaining contestants, anticipation hanging heavy in the air as Minhyun prepared to announce the next member to join the group on the 7th spot. The tension was palpable as everyone held their breath, waiting for the final names to be called.

The minutes felt like eternity as Minhyun's voice resonated in the hall. "Taking the 7th spot in ZEROBASEONE is..."

The air was thick with tension, the contestants seemingly frozen in anticipation. Yujin stole a quick glance at Seungeon, sharing a mix of nerves and hope, their eyes silently communicating amidst the mounting pressure. Meanwhile, a fervent chant for Yujin's fellow YueHua trainee, Kim Gyuvin, echoed through the venue, adding to the nerve-wracking atmosphere.

"Kim Gyuvin!"

The announcement echoed through the venue, sending a wave of elation through the crowd. Gyuvin's eyes widened in disbelief, his hands trembling as he stepped forward. Tears of joy streamed down his face, a mix of emotions flooding his expression as he was embraced by his fellow trainees. Embracing Yujin.

Yujin couldn't contain his happiness, cheering loudly for Gyuvin despite his own nerves. The support from the audience was overwhelming, showing their love for the newly confirmed members.

As the spotlight remained on the stage, the tension continued to mount. Only a few spots remained, and the anticipation grew more intense with each passing second. Yujin's heart raced, hoping that his name would be called among the final members. The bond between the trainees was palpable, a mix of excitement and nervous energy filling the air. Hwang Minhyun took a deep breath, the weight of the moment evident in his pause. The room fell into a hushed silence, every eye fixed on the stage.

"In the 6th spot of ZEROBASEONE..." His voice resonated through the hall, the suspense building to an almost unbearable level. "Kim Taerae!"

Taerae's eyes widened in disbelief, his hands covering his mouth in shock. A rush of emotions swept over him as he stepped forward, greeted by a tumultuous mix of applause and cheers. The other contestants rushed to congratulate him, sharing in his joy and celebrating his achievement. Yujin felt like he had to debut one way or another this time knowing Taerae too is debuting.

With the 6th member revealed, the tension in the venue remained thick. The anticipation for the final three spots heightened, each remaining contestant hoping their name would be the next to resonate through the hall. The energy crackled with excitement and nerves, the realization that the end of this journey was drawing closer fueling the collective emotions of the trainees. It was time for the 5th member. Last time, it was Yujin who was on the 5th but this time the sequence was unknown especially considering the fact that Jiwoong went from 3rd to 8th. The trainees held their breath, their hearts pounding with a mixture of hope and anxiety as Hwang Minhyun prepared to announce the 5th member of Zerobaseone.
