Chaerin looked at the time it her phone and it was 9:34, almost 10. She unlocked it. The party will end at midnight so it means they still have a lot of time.
A couple then went near them to talk. The guy was putting his left hand on his girlfriend's shoulder and both of them had their glasses on their hands.
"Hey," the guy said causing both of them to look at the couple.
"Hi," both Chaerin and Jake greet back.
"My name is Haechan and this is my girlfriend, Seomin," the guy said again.
"Hello, nice to meet you," the girl said and they shook hands with each other.
"Are you guys dating?" Haechan asked again.
The two nod their head. "Yes, we are"
"I see,, no wonder you've been stuck together since this party started. I don't mean to be rude but I didn't see you guys dancing. Why aren't you joining the others here?" Haechan asked again with a smile on his face.
"Are you both not a party person?" Seomin asked.
Chaerin smiled before answering. "You're right. We're not." But they are, it's just that they are more comfortable doing that when it's just them.
"Ahh I see,,," Haechan said while nodding his head and the same with Seomin.
"Well, we're gonna go back on the dance floor to dance, now. Don't you guys at least wanna join?" Haechan said while looking at the two.
"Ermm no, we're good" Chaerin answered.
"Really? You're gonna miss the fun" Haechan then looked at Jake before lightly tapping his hand. "Yow, bro. Why aren't you asking your girl to dance? It's fun, I know you know it" Haechan said with a wide smile on his face.
"Uhh,,actually,,,,," Chaerin quickly barged into his conversation of not wanting to let Haechan go further. "He's not in a mood for a dance right now" she said with a smile on her face.
"Wow, that's new" Seomin added again. "You're lucky your man is not much of a party person. My boyfriend right here is literally a social butterfly. He can't even sit still for once" Seomin said causing all of them to laugh except for Jake.
Jake was feeling a bit sad and hurt remembering his condition. If he could, he would've done it earlier but right now he can't.
Chaerin then stopped laughing. "Oh,,he is a social butterfly too but, tonight he's a bit off" she said backing it up for him.
Haechan and Seomin then began to nod their head. "Okay we're off to go and dude, you have your legs and feet and all. You wouldn't wanna waste that for not dancing right" Haechan adds again while laughing with Seomin but Jake isn't laughing. Chaerin just faked a laugh not wanting to make them feel bad. Well, it's not like they knew the situation right?
